How to Obtain a Jet or Cargo Plane Online - Guide

Foremost, do your best to not abuse jets (i.e. spamming players constantly via missiles inside Los Santos). We do not want GAMEPLAY disrupted too much or the potential fun ruined.

They both spawn inside the military - spawn rates random - and there are three ways to enter - each involving more a rapid sabotage within 1 - 2 minutes before tanks respond. Offensive action is suicidal and highly discouraged.

Initially, one must scout the airbase - determining which aircrafts have spawned and where - to ensure their time from entry to acquisition - entering the aircraft to flee - is short as possible, minimizing the risk of interception from either ample soldiers or lethal tanks.

The options vary from running around the exterior fence, hovering near the perimeter inside a helicopter or a vantage point from a nearby mountain.

Method#1 - Fencing

Requirements: Truck from nearby freeway.

You must find a GRAY WALL (no barbed wire to stop hopping over), ideally the one not at the primary entrance, and situate the truck against it for an immediate hop over it. Once inside, shoot any nearby soldiers and head to the nearest aircraft to escape rapidly before being overwhelmed.

[Pictures to be updated of recommended one]

Method#2 - Gliding

Requirement: Helicopter

You will need to be skilled at skydiving and able to land beside an aircraft from a relatively low altitude (less reaction time from the base). The helicopter should hover outside the base to avoid any alarms to begin until you're parachuting into it and remain there for two reasons:

1 - If you die, they're nearby for another try.

2 - They may collect you in the event of any disasters.

3 - It's an essential item for easily repeating the above step at any time.

Method#3 - Hot Assault

Requirement: Helicopter, Balls.

This is highly dangerous as there's no easy solution in the event of failure but the first option. It involves flying directly into the base and landing directly next to aircrafts to take them without the length of parachuting/running or as many dangers involved with being on foot/in parachute.

Tips:

Jets take time to HIJACK. Ensure no soldiers are NEARBY to shoot you.

Maintain a low altitude to avoid missiles better and practice evasive manoeuvres.

Tanks are the worst threat when taking off - be extremely vigiliant of where they are and try to have objects obstructing any shots. The crazy idea of stealing from the military needs one to be very fast, extremely efficient.

The airport is the best place for a helicopter to do this. The entrance near the private hanger from SP has a hole in the fence (or a ramp alternatively) to have the option 2 & 3 accessible.

Land the aircraft and allow a friend to take it for them to fly without stars (assuming you're unable to lose them).

you can also jump over the barbed wire fence with a car or motorcycle if you take advantage of the hill next to Fort Zancudo. Works everytime for me.

I've been twive on the base by jumping over the fence at the east entrance. But there were only military jeeps. No tanks/jets/helicopters.

Am I the only one?

PSN btw.

Sometimes you'll be out of luck, I went there a few times and found nothing.

Other times I've seen like one single jet there.

Has anyone even found a way to store them? Far as i know, nobody's unlocked a helipad or hangar

Thanks. But I don't understand the difference between option 2 and option 3.

One is basically landing inside the base, JUMPING OUT CLOSELY, whilst the other is parachuting from a helicopter hovering outside the base (no stars) with a pilot. Each have risks/benefits, buddy/.

[PS: I expect most replies to come from people Googling this issue]

What about hopping the fence with a steep slope and a fast car. It's what I've been doing :p

BTW, you dont need any vehicles to jump any fences.

Absolutely easiest way to get in, from the main entrance, go left into where the silos are, you can jump up onto the corner post of the fence, from there, just aim your feet and walk in a straight line across the fence onto the roof of one of the buildings.

The hanger directly in front of you always has a Jet Plane.

It's close to a hanger for this way to be expedient as possible, right? If so, may I have a picture?

I go with option 3 everytime out of about 10 tries all went off without a hitch but crashed once due to a pole appearing in front of me and then got shot down from surprisingly far away from the base. (didnt expect them to shoot that far)
