If you're looking to buy one right now... definitely go with Just Cause 2 (no one can argue that). Do you want a nice huge open world polished game... or GTAV? Saying that once Rockstar gets things working, somehow points to me that you are referring to the online Well Just Cause 2 doesn't even have online(Only a PCmod), so you're better off sticking with quality Single Player mode of V. You mentioned, lack of interiors(not specifically, details), and pointed it out as an annoyance, yes it an annoyance, but the way people were creating thread after thread(prior to online) with titles like "Worst GTA ever" "Rockstar are sh*t" "Never buying another product from C*", now that is hysteria and not an annoyance, or a way to express opinions, and that's why they are reduced to dust. No one likes hot headed idiots. At the end, it doesn't matter if you tolerate the poor online service from Rockstar or not, you won't change a thing, Rockstar are working hard to fix it, so you whining won't speed up the process. And the funniest thing is, that as much as you call Rockstar crap etc. etc. "never buying a game from them again"(I just exaggerated this to make a point) etc. etc. As soon as online is fixed you will be there in front of your console having sh*tloads of fun. legolover630 Posted November 1, 2013 Share Posted November 1, 2013 The only reason i got this account was to reply to this question and although GTA V is fun you can't hate on Just Cause 2. Just Cause 2 is one of my favorite games. Not particularly in the story aspect but in the aspect of it is stupid fun. If you don't take the game seriously (you actually should never take a game seriously) its a really fun game, climbing buildings or tethering someone to your car and dragging them around for a while. I also prefer the way the vehicles physics are. They have a better way of getting damage and blowing up. I'm not a fanboy of JC2 I have both games not that i prefer Just Cause 2 over GTA 5, but i think it's still a decent game that does not deserve all this BS. Yeah its repetitive but its more realistic than GTAV and actually feels like a real place, I mean it takes 10 minutes just to get up one mountain. I wish the mountains in GTAV were on the same scale as just cause 2. GTAV is the better game overall but the map in JC2 has a better layout and you can actually get lost where as in GTAV you can almost always see every corner of the map wherever you are, that kind of ruins the immersion and atmosphere to me. The story in JC2 was absolutely terrible, the handling of cars in JC2 was really really bad, infact I just used the grappling hook to travel because the driving was so bad. Voice acting was bad but pretty funny. I'm still baffled by the fact GTAV has yoga, tennis and golf when it could of had gang wars, burglaries and drug dealing or something along those lines. Just going round blowing up all the government property in JC2 is way more fun than golf, yoga or tennis or any side activity in GTAV for that matter. For that reason GTAV takes the lead but only by a little. If GTAV didn't have such boring side activities then it would of won by miles.
