I figured my save got corrupted and made a new one and that one is having the same problem... It's like Deja vu... Patch to fix one thing breaks something else... Or that the ones you hadn't found yet aren't there when you go to find them? Because if it is the first option, then that's a fix, not a problem. (Cases of money shouldn't naturally grow in the sea to be harvested on a daily basis.) R* patched the glitch that allowed you to farm the money packages by swiching characters. I suspect that if you were to remove the patch from your hard drive, you'll be able to farm the suitcases again, providing there's one left that you haven't collected yet. I got 10 on my original save, went to grab the last 2 and they were not there. I made a new save to see if it was a bug with my save and the new save has 0 of them showing up. So basically if you didn't get them before they patched that exploit then you are screwed... I also found another broken feature... If you go online, then back to single player, you cannot change characters... You have to shut down the system and reload. Getting fed up with this game. I am tired of the "fixes" breaking other things... Edit: So I remove the patch, All I really wanna do is be able to get the remaining packages. I get to the area of one of the 2 remaining packages and the game keeps prompting me to update. Looks as if without the patch they change the suitcase to body armor... So basically, You can't get the things if you have the patch because they don't even show up, then you can't get them without the patch because they are body armor... I deleted all the game data, there was a 20kb file I didn't notice earlier, but regardless I deleted it all, took my console offline, reinstalled and I was able to get them... king69_666 Posted October 4, 2013 Share Posted October 4, 2013 Seems that some weapons also don't re-spawn. The RPG by the crashed plane where the Hidden package used to be is no longer there. The other items, such as the grenade and assult rifle were still there, but not the RPG. I can't say for certain that I've picked up the items that were there with this character before however. One thing I know I did pick up was the body armor near the wing of the crashed plane, and that was still there. So it seems to me that there were some specific items that were removed from their spawn locations with the patch which is rather anoying. I get that some people don't like exploits, but others do. It's only in the SIngle Player game, so there's no harm in keeping the exploits. If you don't like them, then don't use them, seems pretty simple. Cyc2u Posted October 15, 2013 Share Posted October 15, 2013 I just started a new game. Was all excited to get these packages so i had something good to invest in the Lester missions. But they are not there. I collected them all my last game and still didnt own the golf course or the 30 million dollar cinema. So i dont know why they are being idiots over this in single player. I wont be continueing now. I have a previous game save to 100% already and the beginning fun has been zapped out of the new game. No incentive to scuba dive or explore the ocean at all anymore. I hate online. Good job helping me shelf this game, Rockstar. For such a successful game company, you guys are not too bright sometimes. The new batman game is out soon anyways.
