Is it just me or does gta online offer nothing for solo players

I get where you're coming from (my name is lonestranger, after all).

 

Online multiplayer doesn't necessarily mean "play with people you know". Most multiplayer games, whether it be FPS, racing, or what have you, let you jump in by yourself as a lone-wolf random stranger playing with and against other randoms. Sure, playing with those in your friends list and/or with clan/crew members adds to the fun, but not being in a group doesn't normally impair your ability to play.

 

That being said, it is possible to join another host's match and jump in to the fun. It just isn't very smooth or intuitive.

Start a crew and attract other lone wolf players so you can still do missions and work together in servers.

You retards missed his main point...

 

The matchmaking system is broken and only uses the people in your particular session (instead of worldwide) to form a group to do the missions... Therefore if people decline to join then you have no one to do them with...

 

A lot of you should actually read something before you comment on it...

I don't play every night and not the same times so playing with friends is not really an option.

 

The public lobbies always seem empty, and slow to fill. Nothing like GTA4 where you could always get a game.

 

It feels empty, and it's starting to get really quiet. It actually feels like it's peaked.
