NothingPersonal Posted October 3, 2013 Share Posted October 3, 2013 I know the internet is full of d-bags and naturally Online will be as well but my god, the GTA-fanbase are even bigger c*ntbags than usual. I was minding my own business and and browsing through the phone, someone kills me. Okay. Whatever, it happens. Spawn, get run over literally within a minute. Spawn and enter the menu to get out of this session and find a new one, preferably with friends, get killed in a drive-by. Hear childish morons laughing over the mic. Seems legit. I know there is passive mode but this is just BS. This was my worry with GTA Online but meh, I will just have to reserve my Online time for when I have a decent group of friends on so I can avoid the c*ntbags. Just like 80% of this forum then. Oh, and you of course as only a moronic child would use the phrases dbags and cbags repeatedly. It's as if you're in the one safe place where your parents won't be able to hear you swearing. Actually, I am 20 years and while that is young I certainly no longer live with my parents and I buy my own things. Studying law, too. Anything else you'd like to deduce about me based on the way I express myself? Next time I will remember not to use certain swear words when irritated. Pretty sure if you spent an entire session in Online trying to just enjoy yourself and play the game but kept getting killed you'd be doing the same. Trust me, it's fine the first time it happens but when it happens over and over again before you even have a chance to leave the session, yeah it's annoying. Lol. Maybe you're 20 but there's no way on this earth that you're studying Law. From your diction, your childish attitude, and inane ranting, it doesn't take a Lawyer to deduce that you are literally too stupid/immature to study anything in College. Except for maybe Arts. And to feel a need to say this, or even have the priority to perceive something like this, I'd say you're obviously very insecure, suggestive of you being, uh, less than successful to be fixated on others'. I reckon "free-roam" has to be selected for it to drop you back into your private session. And again, most of the missions do require you to play with other people and if you've got no friends on/your crew you have to take the chance with a public session. I did and ended up losing over 10K due to hospital bills because I was killed over and over again on spawn before I could even leave the session via the menu. @NothingPersonal Guy is just trolling, one would hope anyways. I'm against censorship but I was in a school today since I'm a military recruiter and a bunch of 14yr old freshmen were talking about going to the strip club to look at ti*sYou're pretty damn ignorant when it comes to the modern generation it seems. I havrn't been able to play Online, but from what I am seeing and hearing, it isn't great. People can kick others for no reason, TBoGT style douchebags everywhere. I talk away to who ever i'm playing with even if they don't have a mic. I shout and swear but not in a mean way towards players...i mean just if i crash or something. i try to encourage players and tell them what i'm doing or planning to do. just communicating. i really need to get a crew together. As for the psychotic murder tendencies of the online handicapped... Do better at avoiding areas where you see people are killing others. I tend to stay clear of others and do my own thing. That's silly if you already own it. I had the opposite last night, none of this troll stuff. I got snagged the other night at random, challenged the guy to a deathmatch and kicked his ass - it wasn't a bad thing, it was awesome. Then I started a mission and just did it one after the other (so you're barely in free roam anyway). Each mission I did, everyone who joined in (just randoms), participated in the mission. I thought it was epic. Also the game sorts bad players from good players. So if you earn a good reputation (lots of likes etc), you'll never have to deal with trolls or retards. Which I've had to do quite a lot due to people leaving sessions left and right, plus going solo is working out better for my leveling up. co-op missions are great fun but they can turn into a huge clusterf*ck 7 times out of 10 halting your progression. As far as being dropped into a random session. A) If you go solo you just vote "free roam" and it auto put's you where you left the mission B) If it drops you in a lobby with other players just do the same. and if others are voting for something else out voting you hit the button to leave session asap before it's too late. Or just hit leave right away. You'll figure out a way around it. You just gotta learn the ropes. Just bare with it. Plus not every sessions going to be littered with greifers. I even messaged him asking politely to stop. He continues. Somehow after 4 or 5 times then I got out that respawn area.... Then saw him modding his bike, shot him down just as he came out the LS customs garage, took his bike dumped into the ocean. Retard deserved it... I had no chance to do anything otherwise I would have driven off. I didn't even have time to leave the session before I was killed. Thanks for your suggestion, though. @Juzt Yeah, as I said I generally don't have problems with this and am able to avoid getting killed by others but in this instance I was literally killed 3 times in a row before I had a chance to do anything. Twice it was a spawn kill. Maybe this pisses me off because I generally don't go around trying to kill other players and leave everyone be. I expect assholes in online modes of every game but thus far this has been the worst I've experienced. I just try to stay out of trouble when playing online, only joining others when I want to shoot. But biggest assholes are people who shoot your car's tires when you are shopping and you have to drive to Pay'n'Spray with 4 deflated tires. Sucks sooo much. I would like to kill them and burn their body On the other hand there are nice people too. I dunno say link your debit/credit card to PSN/XBL to play 18+ No charges, no fees - just mandatory billing info to prove your age... This could prevent kids playing and even stop bullying/ abuse online (with the address linked to the card) Just to weed out the little kids from playing... this could never happen though, too many sales involved? If anyone who's interested in having fun without being a retard and doing missions/robberies etc I'd be happy to start one with you.
