I was minding my own business and and browsing through the phone, someone kills me. Okay. Whatever, it happens. Spawn, get run over literally within a minute. Spawn and enter the menu to get out of this session and find a new one, preferably with friends, get killed in a drive-by. Hear childish morons laughing over the mic. Seems legit. I know there is passive mode but this is just BS. This was my worry with GTA Online but meh, I will just have to reserve my Online time for when I have a decent group of friends on so I can avoid the c*ntbags. Pretty sure if you spent an entire session in Online trying to just enjoy yourself and play the game but kept getting killed you'd be doing the same. That's silly if you already own it. I had the opposite last night, none of this troll stuff. I got snagged the other night at random, challenged the guy to a deathmatch and kicked his ass - it wasn't a bad thing, it was awesome. Then I started a mission and just did it one after the other (so you're barely in free roam anyway). Each mission I did, everyone who joined in (just randoms), participated in the mission. I thought it was epic. Also the game sorts bad players from good players. So if you earn a good reputation (lots of likes etc), you'll never have to deal with trolls or retards. Last night the session I was in as well I kept seeing "player1 killed player2" and so on over and over again. Even though it wasn't happening to me (yet) it was still annoying that this seems to be the majority thus far. If they wanted to enforce this, they should have just done it so that whoever kills you gets your hospital bill. I bet people wouldn't be running around killing others "for the lulz" then. The only time I had an issue was in the temporary version of GTAO where everything but Amunations is disabled, essentially making it GTA 4 2.0. So I was cool with everyone hunting each other down when there is f*ck all else to do. But in the main mission based world it's been great, everyone minds their own business and does their own thing. There is and that's the mode I stick to but when no one on your friend list is on and you want to play online, you have no choice but to go into a public session. Can't really do most of the missions solo, for obvious reasons it's designed for you and a couple other people. I suppose once they stabilize Online, we'll be able to crew up properly and avoid this further if it's a big crew.
