Where do people get machine guns when they are lower level?

Can you find guns in the game? I've been getting machine gunned by lol 15 etc but when I look in ammunition they unlock at around lol 30.am I missing something here

the micro smg unlocks at like 5 or 6, or you can go kill the army guys by the base and steal theirs but you cant buy ammo for them, they disappear when you run out. Or you can find the hidden ones on the map probably, i havent tried but assume they are still there in online.

Other than the base you can kill some merryweather guys at the submarine dock and swipe their's..

By rank 5 you can buy the mini smg and sawed off shotty. Cheap actually.

Ive picked up some assualt rifles but I lost them once I died.

yea i got it free as well right away i think, i forgot about that. its on the right hand side wall though, not its normal spot.

You can pick them up during missions.... You just can't buy more ammo.

The sawed-off shotgun is free for anyone who is registered on Rockstar Social Club with their account linked. As is the Elergy RH8, though you must own a garage in order to purchase it for free from the legendary motorsports in game website.
