The Ballad of Gay Trevor

Seriously, the deathmatch omg - how embarrassing, I literally suck at GTA and even sucked at Red Dead online. More GTA though, I just cant get use to the whole auto-aim, so many guns sprayed and you're dead in a second.

I am running around like a twat with a pistol currently on a losing streak getting my ass handed to me from every corner. I was good at campaign etc but online wow... embarrassment!

Anyone else suck online?

I suck at online games in general... Even when i worked in the industry i was pretty bad at my own games :) But what ive played of the game is pretty fun. I managed to get stuck though...the very first "blue mission" where i had to do a last team standing thing...man, i stepped out the gate and got sh*t in the pie hole within 30 seconds. It was rough.

I am good in general GTA, but when it comes to the Team Deathmatch/Deathmatch especially and Races - I am just diabolical ... I laugh at how sh*t I am at it.

I suck at shooting games in general.

I still want to do deathmatches and team deathmatches. But that's after they tweak the hospital bills.

deathmatches are a crapshoot. go for headshots, I had an SMG and was killed instantly while running by some guy with a pistol, he got lucky as f*ck and head shot me one time, where body shots even with smg take a while to kill, lol!

SilencedScream

I have my moments.

Sometimes I'm the final survivor and my team is like "HOLY sh*t, look at him go!"
And sometimes I'm the first to die... in the first twelve seconds.

Hm, I seem to be hitting the head quite often tho I use free aim. It's so nice to hear the flaming kids after they've emptied their whole clip and still died.

your not lone believe me. If i can get the sensitibity right i might stand a chance at shooting peeps lol. But been fun so far especially after the luanch issues.

When it comes to shooting, yes, I suck pretty badly. I managed to headshot a guy with my pistol earlier in a deathmatch and was impressed with this, but I haven't had much luck repeating this.

Same here :p

I don't care though. I just want to have fun.

Im pretty good at shooting the low f*cks in SP, also driving is one of my favorite things in gta so its nearly impossible to beat me in races when i don't crash, but HELL i suck so much at DM or LST its pretty f*cked up haha, maybe its a learning thing or maybe these enemies i had were super good at shooting idk but training makes the master.I also suck hard at three stars online AND offline. It will be tough time when heists are available with 5 stars haha

its super easy once you get the hang of it, just cause it auto aims doesnt mean you still cant move the sight, when it pops on the guy just pull the stick down a little, sight goes up to the head and pop, easy peasy! takes a little practice to figure out how far to move it but after that its muscle memory and you can nail them every time. I did this in previous gta games too, I only play GTA games on console and I always use auto aim cause im a pc gamer and free aim sucks ballsack on a console compared to how it works on a pc with a mouse so unless you play console 24/7, its much harder to aim with the dumb little stick thats either too fast or too slow, lol!

I don't know how you guys get the free-aim thing down pack. I feel like it's hard for me to line up the crosshair on the person.

This is another reason why I don't play FPS online. I usually stick to the story for those games.

GoonerSoldier

Killing other players is just too easy that I avoid it at all cost. Whats the point of killing another online player if it takes auto aim and sometimes a single shot? Id rather race, mess around, get in cop chases, rob stores on some co-op type ish than just go online to kill everyone. (boring)

its very hard unless you do it a ton, I hate it too, you have to find perfect sensitivity level and its either too fast or too slow. Moving the stick barely translates into a lot of movement, and its very hard to make it just go one direction without lots of practice. I cant quickly go left or right without accidentally going up or down at the same time unless I play it constantly, and if you lower the sensitivity its too slow and you cant catch moving targets, lol! FPS are much more enjoyable on PC, free aim with a mouse where you can move it farther than 1/4 inch gives much more precise control and a way more enjoyable experience, not to mention the ability to have 64 players and many more options, PC games are much more involved and complex than console.

If i am not in a car i am usually a dead player walking.

i can hold my own if i don't rush but players tend to rush and i get flanked easily.

I am good with stealth tho...

as for when i am in a car... well it takes a lot to stop me.

You must have been reading my mind :)

I guess I'll try to practice with it off after I get the hang of everything. It's just so embarrassing when you keep dying lol. I try not to join team death matches so I don't drag anyone's team down, unless someone asks me to join in.

Yeah, I suck, but I'm getting better :)

I was great at IV, but then again I played it constantly. I'm sure once I get a lot more play time under my belt I'll be able to hold me own well enough.

playing single player and doing the gun range stuff helps, start with a lower sensitivity and you will eventually get better and faster and just keep moving it up. the longer you play the better you will get, personally I am self employed and have more than full time job keeping me busy so I cant play 8 hours a day after school like a lot of these twitch gamer kids that are so good at it. Practice does make you better. havent touched a console much in the last year or so but after a week of this game Im already quite a bit better, no match for the 12 year olds though, lol!

This. I became pretty good at this technique in RDR. I still pretty much suck though especially free aiming.
