Crate Drops, Gang Attack

Does anyone have these events available? I was getting them yesterday morning but I cant find any of the gang areas and crates arent randomly being dropped. I was a low level so it either glitched yesterday or its glitching since then.

Please someone have some info on this. I've had friends unlock them at level 12 and 21 but I'm level 40 and still am yet to see them.

Just got a crate drop event as I read this, no lie.

 

You have to do a mission for Trevor for it to unlock.

Well I am level 28 and I was just on about this with the boys, then all of a sudden I get a phone call from Ron telling me there will be crates dropped around the map and I have to race against others for them.. As I'm typing this I just got an alert with one on the map, went and got it and received 1000RP and a sticky bomb.

For gang attack, once you get close to the area you will see a red circle in the map. You can then start it.

 

I haven't experienced the crate drops but I got the call from Ron about it.

To get crate drops you have to be dealing with trevor which I believe you have to have robbed every convenience store once, then do some missions for him?

Whenever youre playing and theres a big red circle on your minimap there is a crate somewhere in the circle, kill the people guarding it and get the prize. You can not see the red circles on the big map, though.

there is no marker where the reward is, its usually guns and money on top of a box or something along those lines.

Also Gang Attacks have cooldowns and times of the day when they're active. You cant do them whenever, or repeat them quickly.
