Oh my oh my oh my people. I do believe we have some progress. Just got in with absolutley no long wait time, there were actually little social club pictures and what not while it was loading up gtao. Hopefully this is a preview for things to come.

Yeah and my progress in game is actually saving to the cloud to as well as new loading screens, turned it off 5 times today and evrytime i carry on where I left off, smooth on PS3 for now UK..

Same thing happened to me but no beginning car mission. Now I'm in a free for all type match city wide but no missions available.

I'm not seeing the cloud saving that often. I had an experience today where I de-ranked half a rank and lost about 3k due to the cloud not saving it. No big deal, but it worries me a bit. Haha

When I went to join GTAO, I heard multiplayer people talking for a millisecond before the damn cutscene came on.

My crew members are getting their bonus now, only 1 out of 6 were yesterday. My emblem and crew color updated to so it's looking good.

Can anyone confirm for xbox360? I have been able to get on no probs since launch but a buddy of mine was getting held up at the first race. Any updates???

Sure you are, more like with 1-5 people in, finding full or near full lobbies takes monthes.

My character has deleted itself since last night and now cannot get past the first race again. So it's not all roses yet.

I fell off a hill, got pissed a exited the game. Clearly wasn't thinking at the time now I can't get past the loading screen for the race lmao. SMMFH

Oh god I kind of want to murder you right now haha.. if I ever get in the game, I don't care if it turns me into a 300 pound woman, I will NOT exit until I'm done with the tutorial

yeah i thought all was well on xbox central US last night. loaded in fine, but this morning alas my character is gone and creating a new character in the second slot has only served to get me stuck at the waiting for other players screen

progress my ass, it looks like the only thing rockstar has changed is adding online tips on the loading screen. for some reason everytime i try to go online it teleports me to that stupid glitched race with lamar. and i'm on xbox aswell wtf

definitely progress, I played all night and while I did still have an occasional "can't join job" i was still able to do jobs with friends, this game is spectacularly fun.

Lets make a petition like the pc gamers to ask for updates every six hours yhh ??? No because while someones updating that they could of cracked the problem stop moaning about players being deleted you all know theres issues and yet u moan cause your player gets deleted grow up it aint working so dont try and rank up cause chance is ur end up deleted nob heads!!!!!

If the new little "tip" screens are progress.

Still have yet to play online at all.

 

Rockstar needs to quick patch the tutorial. Or at least the tutorial completion restriction on joining friends!
