User accounts?

I just purchased grand theft auto v.

I also bought a used PS3.

I put the game in and started playing. I didn't do anything relating to user accounts.

Now that i'm at a certain point in the game, I would like to purchase a stock through the stock market that needs me to be connected online.

Well I tried connecting online with my PSN account, and it said that I can not log in to my psn account with the user profile I was on.

So I had to create a new user profile. I did that, and the game saves werent there.

so I did some research and found out how to copy the saved game from one profile to my new one.

When I did that, I loaded up the game and it says I cant use that saved game because I didn't create it...

How can I use my saved game with my user profile that I created so that I can get online???

I don't want to start the game over and I really need to get online in the game!

Any way possible??? I don't care about trophies, as I don't have any...

 

PS. the old profile was never logged into a psn account( I didn't even know the password), but there was one attatched to it, as when I tried to log in, there was an email on it, just no password
