let me edit this: I've been playing for the past two days for many hours on end. I leave the game running all the time while online and the only thing that ever happens is....i get dropped from the server for being away too long.

Why is it some people are having no problems connecting, then some people (including myself) have all the problems in the book. I can't log on without either freezing, or not letting me join anything without getting timed out alerts. Were as clearly some people are able to come and go with little to no problems. Idk, I hope its just glitches and I hope they get fixed soon.

Said the exact same thing for my PS3 about 15 minutes ago.

We will just have to wait, hopefully but unlikely it will be solved soon.

I may have a solution for you, but first when you booted up gta v this morning did you hit "a" right away to jump into online?

 

I found out that every time I would press a to jump into online right away I would get the same messages that you would get. I noticed then when I went back to story mode it was messed up where I could not switch characters anymore... so I decided to go to the dashboard and re launch GTAV.

 

Now that you have restarted GTAV just let the story load, and then once your story is loaded hit start, then choose the online tab and go play GTAOnline that way.
