Get your s*** together. Its been long enough to fix the bullsh*t dealing with characters not saving!!! Seriously, I think $800,000,000 could fix that. Appearing to be a waste of money

Servers are being purchased for extra data usage. PSN had server issues that would only let a few people connect anyway. Both the purchased servers, and error fixed, will stablize things. But there are a lot of glitches that are still game-related, not online-related

It's been said many times, characters didn't dissappear, it's cloud based and the cloud was being changed around while trying to fix it. All the characters existed, but if you made a new character over the slot then yes, your character got deleted.

 

There is no excuse for the walk of death...That was a glitch, one I don't understand how they didn't notice to be honest.

Where the character goes is not relevant. The character still disappears regardless if it comes back later, and this is a problem from Rockstar not PSN. Edited by OD913

WAHOOOOOOOOO, I finally got to play last night for 4 hours with friends! It was an amazing experience, all until i got on this morning, and my character with a badass Sultan RS, tons of guns/ammo, and close to $400,000, just, VANISHED!!! f*cking awesome!

Someone else just ANSWERED your ignorane about the "character disappearance" Open your eyes, if you're blind, use those fingers correctly before you type. Rockstar purchased more servers for more data usage. The character problem is that the original characters data has not been transferred, and the servers are being fitted for cloud storage. Stupid people, I swear.

Interesting...Hope that's true, as I made a new character before knowing about the actual problem and just don't like who he looks compared to the one that got deleted.

It's just not a good idea to go Online with future plans of a current character right now, as Cloud Storage is not being friendly right now.
