What i found so far online that you cant do in single player is:

 

Arm Wrestling

Buy Houses

Rob more stores then singleplayer.

Of course TDM, DM, Last Man Standing, Etc

New missions that are different then single player

Alot more variety in clothing

 

 

Best mission/job i played came yesterday when i hit lvl 10. A mission showed up that was 4v4. 4 players on bikes have to get to the docks to do something ( i forget what since i was on the other team) vs 4 players on fighter jets trying to gun them down. f*cking epic mode. So far thats what ive seen new online, maybe more when you rank up. im lvl 10.

you can have all your progression deleted by rockstar. cant get that in single player, unless they come to your house and smash your console

I see a couple people mention buying Houses.

That should be "buy A house". They said you can only own one house at a time, you can always upgrade to a better house once you have enough money, and you make money back on the one you sold.
