GTA:O PS3 Fix

I posted a method before, but I'm freely able to sign into the server and some people are already level 15, I'm only 13 ( sigh ) I wanted to be the highest level on ps3 when it got fixed for everyone.

 

But you can go to Game Data Utility on PS3

 

and delete whichever file is V1.01 ( I'm not sure of the file size someone should be able to confirm )

 

Go into the STORY MODE, do NOT press X for online when it's loading it will NOT WORK -

 

From the story go to online, and change characters and delete any characters you have previously made, they're probably corrupted -

After, start an Invite Only Session - [ If invite only doesn't work, do Solo ]

 

You should get to the car and it should say " Waiting for other players " - this screen will stay on for approximately 10 minutes at maximum -

 

it'll put you then into " Launching Session " ( Approx. 5 - 10 Min )

 

Then the screen to pick your car should pop up -

 

The loading is very tedious because the intro is moving slow to load Lamar's character [ THERE ARE NO OTHER PLAYERS TO LOAD EXCEPT YOU AND LAMAR ]

You sir, are an example of why i never try these "fixes". Twigs was right, it's rockstar, and let me explain to you how it works and doesn't work for many players. A lot of the people who are in the game right now got the "rockstar cloud didn't load, would you like to continue with anyways?" And if you select yes, it puts you straight into a full free roam, with many other players that did the same exact thing. That's how it works. If you don't get that message, you end up in the never-ending race, and won't be able to connect, because in the end IT IS ROCKSTARS ISSUE WITH THE TUTORIAL.

It's coincidental if you get on after redownloading the patch. You're better off just keep trying if it doesn't load in 5min unplug the Ethernet until it stops trying and try again

Yesterday, once I finally did get past the tutorial it kept working fine in a private session with a friend. Today I want to try it with another account but I can't get to the race anymore.
