No animals?

Since launch i have no seen one animal, maybe i'm not looking clear enough, but no dogs deer etc, haven't seen one, has anyone seen any animals in online?

Ya I'm curios too. I mean if putting animals in gta online makes it unplayable than fine, I just want to know why they're missing. And I find that no animals takes away a layer of interactivity and fun from gta online.

If nothing else, I hope they appear in apartments at some point (since they can't be killed in there I assume).

I was excited to go cougar hunting like my crew used to do in Red Dead Redemption...Or get attacked by sharks in the ocean while diving.

GTA online servers make GTA online un-playable. and i would also like to know why there are no animals. it definitely makes the game far less enjoyable. that is... it did, when i was able to play it, and before my characters were deleted.

I'd assume because the less moving things you have to deal with on the screen the lesser the resources used. Animals have to have scripted paths and reactions just like cars and peds, couple that with 16 people at once and their sessions and it could easily add some strain. Maybe when the game is stable they'll add em back in.

Let's just hope it comes out on PC so we can have everything as it should be. I'm sick of there being 3 people on the busiest streets in the city at all times!!

 

No animals and very few immersive features sucks.

 

Also let's hope for much bigger capacity for players in the future.

I just want to be able to own a dog of my own. Although yeah there should be other animals especially in Blaine Country because apart from the town area and occasional npc it feels like a wasteland.

Stray animals, pets and pet shops should be added to online over time. Then again I'd understand if they don't add animals, taking into consideration that it's probably to ease the servers.
