Deleting my Un-playable characters?

Im wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and whether or not they have fixed it, so help me and others alike out guys!

 

So iv already have enough trouble try to play the godamn online, and i thought of something that might help me to finally get on, and that is to go into the online character selection screen and to delete those 2 un-playable character (un-playable because when i click to enter them, nothing happens and it keeps asking me to retry (cloud problems))

 

So as i try to delete them, it comes up with the screen saying "Deleting character from GTA Online. Please do not turn off your console."

 

IT HAS BEEN SAYING THAT FOR OVER AN HOUR?????????

 

Why cant i play, i think i legit have the worst experience out of everyone, cant even do the freaking tutorial ANYMORE.

 

ps. im not hating, i love the game, i just want to f***ing play!!!

My first character was gone when I went back yesterday, so I made a new character...but then I checked the forums and someone said Cloud just wasn't loading. Soooo....does that mean I deleted my first character myself by making a new one? Or will there be an error, based on the fact I made a character in the slot of an existing character? Or, by making character in said slot, will he be shunted to slot 2?

Come on Rockstar, answer some questions please...just a few? = P

yeah pretty much what happened to me i think.... i just want to play!!

my original level 14 character disappeared but i got to keep the $51k i had accrued. i started a new character in slot 2 that is now level 5 and i have around $65k now.

 

it would be nice if the original came back but the second one is almost a mirror image (except i put a white shirt on instead of a black one so if it comes back i'll know which is which)
