Restart character/change character

Really dumb question - tried searching for it

 

How do i quit my current character to recreate him or delete him and make a new one?

Go into your pause menu, select the online tab, and under that tab there is a swap character option, which takes you to the character screen and lets you create and delete characters

Don't worry Rockstar will delete him for you.

I actually laughed out loud at that.

But really, that happened to me a few times, but the character always came back with the same amount of money, but it let me alter his appearance and traits, which was nice.
