two groups of people here. those that are sane minded and want what the were promised when rockstar took their money. of course we wait at first until we hear you knew this would happen but didn't take the required steps because it would cost alittle extra on rockstar's end.

 

and fools that don't care how bad a company screws them over and are happy to wait however long it will take to fix a problem the knew all about long before they sold a single copy. some how I feel waiting for half of your customers to just give up is a terrible business model...

 

is it just acceptable that every year these problems get worse? you get a gutted version of what you pre-ordered and a clusterphuck of online play. go ahead and call this a troll topic. im done with single player mode, nothing to do with my billions of dollars. and for all you mouthbreathing, bootylicking fanboys telling everyone else to just sell their copy of the game, how about rockstar give those people a full refund? wouldn't it be funny if the game that made the most money had to pay out the biggest refund of all time.

I did not even have to read it all to see what group you are in. How are WE screwed over? They are screwing THEMSELVES over if they don't fix this asap. We could all just forget about it and move on to other games, but we wont because we know this online is going to be badass.

Every popular game that has a large multiplayer element will always have problems at launch due to it being the first time the servers and system is tested to its full capacity.

 

Let me re-establish what the 2 groups of people are. 1 group of people understand that these launches can have these problems due to the sheer amount of people connecting and the companies first time of launching something on this scale. These people are willing to be patient and wait for it to be stable before enjoying it to its full. The second group of people are the ones who expect everything to be absolute perfection from the beginning. They don't understand how much strain servers are put under on initial release and that this is where all the underlying problems display themselves. It seems like this time round, their problems were bigger and more complex than anticipated.

 

Stop whining and go outside and do something with your life instead of waiting for it to work.

At first I thought it was harsh of people to rip into R* after they clearly stated they expected teething issues. This has now turned into a complete sh*t storm and I have to agree with what you say. I expected the maintenance to take a day at the most. This is taking the piss.

 

I'm pissed off mainly with the lack of updates from R* but it'd be nice to be able to play the game I've paid for and for any f*ckwit that tells me GTAO is free, NO ITS NOT I PAID £55 FOR IT!
