No Custom License Plate Online?

I thought my uber cool custom license plate would be available to use online...

 

Is it only available for single player? I mean, it's a cool feature and all but if it's not for online then that really sucks. I don't see it anywhere in the Mod Shop so it's not like you have to rank to unlock it. :panic: :cry:

You'll see your online character in your Los Santos Customs menu in the iFruit app now. You can place an order for your car there and it will be fitted with your plate.

Does that mean i have to choose another name for online? Or can I use the same one I have for single player?

Just afraid it will be taken for online already!!! I hope not!
