Character deleted thing fixed?

BEFORE QUITTING GTA ONLINE GO TO SINGLEPLAYER! JUST TO MAKE SURE IT SAVES!

 

I got dced from online, went to single player, shut off the game, started it up again and character was gone

level 17... 2 garage appartment... now gone... or not showing up at least to play with

played for over 12 hours though... with friends and some cool people from this forum... I DO WANT MY CHARACTER BACK ASAP! lol

Sent a request to R*, trying to get some more info on this specific issue... Also stated that I find it weird that the problem is not even acknowleged on their 'update site'. This is what I got back:

Yeah I too got to level 9. My character is deleted. Tbh I am not doing that tutorial again I really can't stand it. I will wait until my character is back.

Yeah ive come to the point where it doesnt annoy me anymore, slightly frustrating ofcourse, but this time was the farthest ive come so far in the game, so im thinking im just gonna wait until it hopefully comes back, if it doesnt... ill catch some z's and hopefully it will be back tomorrow. (might submit a ticket before I go to bed just to make sure its back when i wake up).
