GTA Online Tactics: Xavier Horovitz Edition

I'll keep this updated, because I'm constantly discovering things that really drive up the intensity of Online. If you try any of the things I post, reply here and let me know how it went. So far, I've only got a few things to show you, but I will definitely add more.

The Wanted Man

Requirements: At least three people.

It's time for the most dangerous game. Out of your group of friends, choose one to be the hunted. Afterwards, begin the most terrifying and explosive manhunt of all time. San Andreas should be torn apart by a war by the time you are done. The hunted man should call in Merryweather hit-squads on those who chase him. He should hide on tiny islands off the coast while using Lester to keep his dot off the radar. A good wanted man should be able to outsmart his opponents, be it by hopping a train at the last second or creating diversions.

All Aboard the Troll Train

Requirements: At least two of you need to be level ten. The more, the better.

As trains circulate around the map, you rarely see people riding them. You will take advantage of this. Grab a friend (or multiple friends), buy a LOT of ammo, and wait on the train. As it rolls by, hop on. Once all of you are cruising around Los Santos in style, the fun can begin. Beginning at level 10, you can call Lester to place a bounty on other players who are at least level 10. Proceed to place relatively high bounties on each other. You will almost immediately start to see players on the map turn toward you as they collectively sh*t their pants at the potential money they could earn by murdering all of you. Your initial advantage is that they have no idea you're riding a train. Soon enough, people will begin to show up and attempt to kill you. Using cover tactics and stealth, get the jump on the people coming after you. Odds are, they'll be approaching you with a car. This severely limits their aiming abilities while you are free to take your time and mow them down. Repeatedly. See how long you can last and, when you're done, organize a fair system to kill each other so that everyone gets most of their money back, effectively trolling the entire lobby.

The Classic Jihad

Requirements: Accepting the fact that you will lose money, and level nineteen.

Nearly every free roam has that pesky player (or 16 pesky players) that you really want to take out for whatever reason. Sure, you could gun them down or run them over, but you're more old-school than that. Once you're level 19, hit up your local Ammunation and buy a few sticky bombs. Give them to a friend if he doesn't have any and tell him to throw a few on the front of your car (stolen vehicle recommended). All you need to do now is roll up on the bastard and tell your buddy to hit the switch. Click and boom.

I approve.

I'm glad you like it :) Upon trying it with two people last night, I can confirm that it does work very well. We each had 7000 dollar bounties on our heads, so you can imagine the amount of crap we had to put up with. It gets even funnier when they wind up slamming into the side of the train.

Slightly off-topic, but I'm hoping you might know how to get around this...

Has anyone else been mid-robbery and had a random citizen start shooting you? Not the cashier when you turn your back (made that mistake early on, trust me), but a citizen not even in the store? I was mid-hold-up and started getting shot from out in the street - I then turned to address that threat and got blasted by the cashier when I turned my back.

So yeah, is this common? If so, how can it best be defended/prepared for? Thanks.

Really annoying person in the lobby? Take a car and block him the store when he goes in. They quit so fast :D

FearTheAmish

My current favorite...

The Safari

For the safari you need at least 3 people and a helocopter. One person drives and the other 2 take sniper rifles. You then fly over the city following other players and keep track of who can shoot the most players. The extreme version of this is car safari were you attempt to shoot players through the roofs of their cars.

I like this very, very much. Sounds like a good deal of fun.
