AssassinsEyez Posted October 3, 2013 Share Posted October 3, 2013 So, I was doing the 'Road to Enlightenment' mission for KEFFLOM, where you retrieve all the cars. I want to be specific here, so this exactly how it happened: I found the first 3 cars, in this order: Declasse Tornado Enus Super Diamond Dinka Double TThen I had to go do some work, so I saved and shut off my xbox. When I returned, I loaded the game up, and as I had saved at the garage you bring them to, I turned right to go find the 4th car. It was right in the driveway next door, the Benefactor Surano. I thought, awesome, that's convenient, hopped in and put in the garage, 4 down, 1 to go. So, at this point I save again, and yes, I'm a save junky, as I'm sure most of you are, and I continued on my adventure to find the 5th car. I remember someone stating that one spawned in a driveway down the hill from Franklins, so off I went. Sure enough, it was there, and I jacked it. I was about to set my GPS to head back to the garage, and that's when I noticed the KIFFLOM quest marker was gone. UGH! So, I drove it back to my house (Michaels) and parked it in the garage, and went upstairs to go to sleep, as I figured maybe because it was dark, I'd have to wait until morning. When I woke up, it still wasn't there, so I drove around for a bit, and then since it wasn't showing up, I decided to go customize it at LSC. After fully customizing it, I Was on my way back to Michaels to save it, (thankfully, I trun off autosave) because as I was about to save it back in the garage, I noticed I went from $21,000,000 to -$700!!! AHHHHHHHH!So, I reloaded and all was well, the car was in the garage still, uncustomized, and still no KIFFLOM marker?!?So, has anybody had this happen to them, and if not, does anybody have any suggestions so I can finish this damn mission.*NOTE*I have finished the main storyline, and a lot of side quests, so I'm not worried about spoilers, or anything of that nature.Thanks for any and all help! I've noticed that a lot of people have had issues with this and that, but I haven't had a single one, until now. Oddly enough, it was after the online update. It would seem, for me, it broke something rather than fixed anything. (other than making online available) Is it as simple as waiting for a certain amount of time, I haven't tried waiting even longer, but I feel like that isn't it... HELP PLEASE! Just incase for some reason you have the wrong vehicle, does it show up in the corner 'this is a vehicle blah blah epsilon' when you enter it? Well, that's another thing I noticed, the 5th and final car I need is the Peggasi Vacca, which is one of the more rare cars in the game. I believe that is the one down the hill fom Franklins, as I had to do a search to find one. When I get in the car, it doesn't have the prompt, but seeing as the mission marker disappeared, it's kind of expected. I know people were having a glitch after finding all 5 cars, and not recieving the email. However, people have said that was fixed with online patch, not to mention, I'm only on the 5th car. I'm thoroughly confused as to why it just disappeared, and I don't have a save from before, excpet for before I even started the kifflom quest!! UGH! Since according to Rockstar it patches this bug: "Fix for the Epsilon Program missions not progressing properly after delivering some cars." Since according to Rockstar it patches this bug: "Fix for the Epsilon Program missions not progressing properly after delivering some cars." See, I was only aware of the bug AFTER retrieving all 5 cars, not having a bug anywhere in between. If thats's the case, at least I'm not alone. Also, I started the KIFFLOM mission AFTER getting the online update, as a way to pass the time while all the bugs were worked out. So, I can officially claim that the bug is NOT fixed. Ah that sucks dude. Only thing i can really suggest is getting in the car with you Epsilon robes on, or buy the car from the website (the way i did it) and if the symbol still doesn't appear at least you have a nice car The only thing is, the mission marker isn't there. So it shouldn't matter how many I find, or if I buy one, because if the mission marker isn't there, then it will never give a prompt. Ugh, I'm so frustrated now. I hope I won't have to resort to restoring an old save. I have a terrible memory, so I won't remember exactly what I'd be losing. I hope that was sarcasm, as I had over 21 mil when I went into LSC. When I came out, with less than $500,000 in customization, I was at -$700, as in NEGATIVE $700. That just isn't possible, it has to be a bug. However, that isn't the important part, as I reloaded and everything was fine again, I just need to get the mission marker to reappear. When you are told to acquire the robes, go to the epsilon website and you will be able to purchase them. They can only be bought once and that is when you have been told to get robes, if you try to buy them at any other time they will be sold out. When you are told to acquire the robes, go to the epsilon website and you will be able to purchase them. They can only be bought once and that is when you have been told to get robes, if you try to buy them at any other time they will be sold out. NOTHING! -I went golfing -I waited a few in-game days -I switched to Franklin and Trevor, played around for a while -I tried ordering the car online UGH, come on R*, when did I become a beta tester?!? I finally completed all of the Epsilon missions which I was very much trolled on the last one but that's a different story. So now every f*cking time I switch to Michael or my online player, whenever I can sign on, I get this annoying text from that Marnie chick....every damn time. It would seem that not only did it glitch my Epsilon Mission for Michael, it also glitched the rest of his Strangers & Freaks missions!! Trevors and Franklins are fine though! First I can't even play online, and now online broke my SP too!!! This game has rapidly become a disappointment, they better update/patch all the fixes, and give us a lot more to do!!!Not to mention, can you say, "FREE DLC!". I understand the complexity of it all, it's beyond complexing, it's enough to make your head spin. However, when you have nearly an unlimited budget, and as much time as they've had, there is no excuse to release a game with so many bugs that 'break' the experience. Don't get me wrong, I'm appreciative of their efforts, and I have enjoyed the game, regardless of the many missing features I would assume it should have. This is just getting a little ridiculous! That causes weird bugs in every game ever, and that's even more possible after the first update. You should probably wait or start another save.
