how long should i stare at "launching session" initial race ps

so I finally managed to get the double cutscene glitch to stop by deleting and reinstalling the 39mb update thingy in game utility and deleteing/creating like 4 people, but now im stuck at "launching session" and have been for 38 minutes. how long should I wait before considering this to be a glitch/bug

I let it sit there and took a hour nap and it didnt do anything so dont wait long lol. just reboot, let the story mode load, pause go to online and launch a Crew/Friends only game and try again. I have had great luck in Crew/Friends games rather then the open public ones.

Same here less than 5 seconds of loading screen. But I did it in INVITE only after SOLO kept failing, but my girlfriend in the other room couldn't get it to work in either mode.

Actually I've noticed if the hard disk light stops blinking for more than a minute and you only see the green Internet light blinking you might as well give up and try again. Ps3 only the older model.

I wait about 3-4 minutes before something happened, anything longer than 5 mins i think is a waste of time as nothing will probably happen.

I still haven't got in. Its times out right before I pick a car for the 1st race. SMDH... (PS3) Do you think it has anything to do with autosave because i have it turned off. Maybe I should turn it back on.
