AzzRicketts
Now I'm not too sure if this works but I just read on IGN that if you delete the GTA:O update then you will be able to get past the beginning race but I can't find the Update in the Saved Data Utility, can anybody help? Sorry to double post, using my phone to browse th internet. Well, if it works then it works. Could just be an issue because of SO many people downloading the install, but who knows, I'm not a tech expert.

AzzRicketts
Rockstar have also posted on their support site that this method works! Happy gaming ladies!
fish61324
It would be better to just be patient and wait for R* to fix this. Finding a "work around" might screw things up for your game later on once R* does fix the problem.
AzzRicketts
Considering Rockstar have suggested this I can't see it doing any harm
ton10
Considering Rockstar have suggested this I can't see it doing any harm Glad you're so optimistic, but did you actually find the update in your Game Data folder (I assume PS3)? I can't (I have PSN digital version), which tells me it installed directly to the game directory itself. That means I would have to delete the entire game and re-download it. Not going to happen.
