Few question

I got a couple questions.

 

Cut scenes. I thought they are supposed to go throughout your progress. Mine ended after I brought drugs to that guy.

 

Simeon. How do I start these mission. I called him from my phone but it says some mission is locked?

 

I was under the impression that we were following a story. There just 8 missions on my map. I just do them in random order? How is that even close to 500 mission. I know more open up but do the previous ones go away when more get added?

 

When does buying an apartment open up?

You unlock more and more stuff/content as you level up

 

I'd do some Races and/or Missions with friends

 

4 new clothes, 4 new hairstyles unlocked for me at lvl 6, then 4 more at lvl 7, new stuff for weapons, and new things unlocked on the map etc

It's not clear (and I wish the "tutorial" had been clearer in explaining how to progress and what the consequences of conduct of play are) but it's just a case of levelling up (by playing deathmatches, races etc, or robbing banks, escaping police etc) and when you level up, you'll start getting "mission" calls from characters.
