Question! about cameras in the game

i was just at the gta guide FAQ, and it said this about the weapons:

Slot 1(Camera) - Camera - Used to take pictures for one of your missions

 

if this weapon is in its own "slot" do you reckon you'd be able to take screenshots at any other time during the game and save these onto the memory card? and have like your own little gallery thing? that would be f*cken sweet as, what do you think? oh the possibilities.....

I think you can only use the camera for the one mission. Thats what i read at least. It would be cool if you could use it thoughout the whole game though.

*BUMP* could someone else please tell me what they think? im really interested in this, i dont think R* would bother putting the camera in its own little "slot" unless it served a purpose for more than one little mission...... come onnnn ppz reply!

...other than that, it is a one-time only thing, unfortunately.  I won't tell you what you have to do with it, but it involves sex stars and ummm... offic...

 

EDIT: Would be nice to be able to do that screenshot thing, though.  Take pictures whenever you wanted (even if you had to get film "ammo" for it).  Would be awesome.  Wonder why they didn't do that...?
