Just curious why do so many guys create female characters to play

I'm currently playing as a guy but I'd play as a girl in GTA 4. I think it's about what you like to look at more for some people. would you rather look at a guy while you play or a girl? Right now I think my guy looks really cool so I play as him, but I could see myself playing with a girl character if I could make her look better.

Just because you have gender/sexuality insecurities doesn't mean everyone does. People who are comfortable in their gender/sexuality don't have any issues playing an opposite sex character in a game.
