Actually they do owe me. They adertized GTA online prior to launch. That is the product they offered. They do in fact, technically, owe us online. If you believe otherwise, you are wrong.

 

 

Yup, they certainly did advertise this. They also advertised the fact that you most likely would have troubles within the first couple of days. If you know anything about the hardware that would support such a launch, then you would acknowledge and expect this. Blatantly bickering about it and crying about it when knowing nothing about the technological side of things is ridiculous.

I dont think all of the problems are becuse to many trying to play.

 

Like this one:

 

 

  • Freezing sometimes while loading into first race in GTAO with "waiting for other players" on the screen
  • Race Corona (start area, marker) occasionally not showing up for first race
  • Occasional errors about jobs failing to start or load
  • Errors saying "Mission Failed" as soon as the mission begins during a session
Are these becuse of to many trying? nah, glitches. I cant even get pass the first race, then the map zooms out and im stuck.

 

Add in character wipe after disconnecting from PSN. Not happened to me yet but it is happening to my friend.

Incorrect. Individuals paid for the full game and received the online portion two weeks after it was supposed to launch, which is still not functioning properly.

Im fine with teething issues, but its not because there arnt servers that can handle millions, its because R* is trying to avoid having to dump additional servers later on when the intrest for online dies down slightly.

 

In other words they likely plan to slowly introduce more servers until they hit the sweet spot.

 

What worries me, I that they have failed at keeping the data safe, players losing characters etc is the number 1 rule you never break when releasing a online game with any sort of progression.

how you gonna tell people what they paid for? the only way to get GTA:O is to buy GTA V yes, but you still are paying for GTA:O. Especially since the online is more polished than the single player that gets boring after a week....get off rockstar's nuts

I played for 45 mins this morning. It was fun. I'm not angry that its not working, welcome to every big launch. Rockstar said numerous times that this is a new undertaking for them. Stop whining, relax, and wait for things to run. Or sell your game. choice is yours friends.

1. Nobody knows is the sales would drop significantly. It would probably not considering GTA: San Andreas is the most saled console game ever. And there was not any online in that. So you are wrong there.

 

2. The Online was NOT a main selling point.

 

3. IT DOESN'T f*ckING MATTER IF THE SALES WOULD BE NON-EXISTENT. The game would STILL COST 60 f*ckING $. The Price for the online is NEVER included. By your logic, Super Nintendo games would've cost

10$ cause there wasn't any online feature in it.
