It is hit and miss....at least you can sometimes get through though..

 

my friend on PS3 been having no problems

Stopped caring at this point. Until R* guarantee that characters aren't going to be deleted and/or deleted characters can be recovered, they can stick the game up their collective arses.

 

It still wasn't working properly for me before my character was deleted, by the way. Solo/Invite Only games only.

It's really a luck kind of thing at this point. Some people are able to log on and others such as myself haven't been so lucky.
