Petition to change Character Creation in GTA Online!

One of my most enjoyable features in a game is a character creation editor that is truly tailored to allow one to make overtly specific characters. Not for the reason of wanting to make outlandish characters that could never exist in reality, but more so to make a character in a game that looks exactly like me. I love immersion within a game, as would any gamer that would enjoy a truly enjoyable experience, and when I can have a character that I've been able to tailor to look like me I feel much more immersed from that simple fact. I'm not asking to have the character creator changed so I can make mythilogical looking chracter/creatures within a gta game, but simply because I want to have the best most immersive experience that I can from the amazing game that is GTA V, and as long as this current system is in place I'm not sure if that's possible.

Bollocks. It's f*cking sh*t. Your character looks like a burn victim were you can pick wether you want first, second or third degree burns. If you don't want that then you get the Meth head look.

It's not great, but I really couldn't care less. I'd rather Rockstar concentrate on getting the game working for all those people still having trouble. I think they're busy enough without making even more demands from them.

If it would save my characters, sure i would invest some time.

But im on my 22nd character now, stopped trying until i get confirmed its working.

Not had any problems after my 2nd character. Just dont forget to save when you quit GTA Online

Character creation is alright.
Try switching to female, randomising her then switch back to male.
I did that and got different head/face shapes and clothing.

I had an amazing black dude with dreadlocks and a bright blue tracksuit.
I named him 20 Cent.
Then he got deleted

R* said they WANT GTA Online to be shaped by the consumer, this guy is doing just that and the character customisation is god awful.

 

A few face slider for chin, nose, ears, eyes and mouth would make a lot of difference to the burnt face man.

You realize that their will inevitably be future versions of this game albeit on nex-gen consoles and the pc correct. With that in mind there are a multitude of things that can change within the time frame that it takes to develop them for the future platforms, which for a company of this magnitude should be more than simple, there are literally modders everyday within the pc gaming community that write and code their own additions to games regularly. If a company that makes over billions of profit a year can't do what someone within their own household can their is a significant problem. And updates and free content to games via this special service called the "internet", you may have heard of it, allows for such content such as a new character creation systems or anything for that matter to be shipped to people free of charge for those who have already purchased the game. You lack of knowledge with distribution is pretty stagggering

 

If you honestly believe that they wont create future versions simply because they have yet to announce it then it shows your lack of intelligence with supply and demand as well as your level of ignorance that you have still managed to maintain at whatever "mature" age you feel you are.

 

Regardless to all who do support a change I thank you, and hope that you will share the petition with as many as possible.

Spend more time than you do making a character for some random action game and you will see. It's not amazing but it works just fine. You want to complain about the textures, blame the consoles the game plays on. Blame Microsoft and Sony for forcing consoles to outlive their lifespans.

 

 

 

Lol OP you really have no clue, at all. You do not know how it works so again, just stop. You think that coding a brand new UI, and all the backend to a character creation can be done simply? It is not, especially.... Since many players have already made their characters on the current system. And guess what? Only more players will make their characters as designing this new character creation will take time.
