Dear kids and whiners,

Yes, we understand, online ain't going too well. There is no need to whine about it though. Grow some balls, get some patience, grow the f*ck up, and realise that this game is one of the biggest games to be bought with millions of people trying to access online at once, it will take a while.. It happens with all new games. So please, just shut the f*ck up and wait.

Dear Normal People,

For starters, a lot of people are adults who have real jobs, families etc. Therefore their gaming time is limited. And when they get a chance to play, they want to be able to use the product they paid for. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and can post whatever they please. They paid for their copy of the game, same as you and I. Rockstar had 2 weeks to get this online thing set up. They knew what volume of players they would have. This game is also full of glitches and bugs. Stuff that never should have made it past testing.

While GTA5 is a great a game, Rockstar dropped the ball in a lot of places.

Whining about issues that rockstar is well aware of and working on fixing around the clock doesn't help any.

Dear Spitfirex007,

I am prepared to admit that they probably should have had a slightly better launch than they have. That being said, I'm not sure you understand how testing works. Testing a game, especially a console game with a limited pool of testers and no publicly available open beta, is far different than opening the floodgates to millions of people. There are tons of bugs that will easily fly under the radar and not even get noticed until the general public hit the servers all at once. No company anywhere can test their game as well as millions of gamers. I understand that people are upset, but I have a full time job as well. While I'm also disappointed that I haven't gotten to play yet, I also wasn't stupid enough to assume it would be perfectly playable on day 1 or 2. This is a huge online venture for R* and you should be thankful that they are doing all they can to get it running properly. Show some patience like me and give it time to stabilize.

Sincerely,

Your Average Working Class Adult

You have to wonder about people who are perfectly okay with mediocrity and failure. I guess being an adult means you have to take it in the rear from companies who don't deliver. WoW was better than this on day 1 and that was like 10 years ago.

What???!? Doesn't it work to start hundreds of ''f*ck you Rockstar'' and ''GTA online sucks'' threads? I thought it would all be fixed if everyone of us started individual hate threads over and over again?

Who buys GTA for mp? its a secondary part of the game.

The game itself is hardly mediocre or a failure and WoW? really lol

You have to have a brain to understand why WoW was better on day one.

The reason is that WoW didn't have hundreds if million people pushing connect button at the same time at day 1.

Though some of the expansions on the other hand...Don't act like any other launch of an online game with this amount of players have gone smooth. Starcraft 2 servers even exploded on day1, literally.

This is just as bad/annoying.

Tired of hearing it from both sides.

I totally agree with you, this happens on another forum I visit and probably everywhere else on the net. You have the people who whine and complain, moan etc. and then there are always the people who whine, complain and moan about the complainers which they fail to realize with their superiority complex is just as bad as those they are scolding. IMO. People say what they want on the internet...for the most part so starting a thread like this isn't going to stop people from complaining. Furthermore I have no sympathy for Rockstar; I usually don't for any big business. I paid for the product...so it should work and that product features online. Hell, this time around I brought GTA for the multiplayer even more so than the story so I'm one of those who are annoyed although I don't care to start threads about it maybe like the younger ones.

I don't think you understood what I said.. at all. WoW was a huge MMO that was extensively beta tested by FAR more gamers than GTA:O. WoW was also ONLY an online game and was built entirely around that. Comparing GTA:O to WoW is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

Simple things like cars disappearing from the garage is hard to overlook. A lot of people had this issue within 1 to 2 hours of play time. I know another big glitch when using the internet, the game crashes causing you to lose your hub, lose your ability to use the phone and switch characters. Though this one's isn't as common.. it's still fairly hard to miss something like this.

It was known before this game even released, it would reach record breaking numbers. They knew they'd hit 1 billion within the first couple days just based off pre orders alone. There is no excuse for a game to be this glitchy and bad. Not to mention they leave features off the single player for online, then they can't even get that working right. It's not just people not being able to connect. It's issues with the online gameplay. For example, my cousin was playing and he fall through the map. He couldn't see his hub or map or anything. He could shoot his gun, just couldn't out it away. Cars we are currently driving, locking themselves, and locking us out. I was going to hold up a store. I parked my car out front, went inside. When I came out I couldn't even open my own car door! All these things happened within in a couple hours of play time. With a team of testers (even a small one) this sh*t should have been noticed

But ffs, you have to be a total retard to compare GTA:O release with the WoW release. Warcraft was not that popular before WoW had broke.

To be honest, as much as I knew the story would be good and I've played through every GTA story since 3, I mainly got this for the multiplayer.

Rockstar admitting that there would be glitches and bugs is completely different to not being able to play at all. We ''should be thankful''? I don't think so...it's their job to fix it, not doing so would be a mistake on their part and in the long run cost them money and fans who are loyal to their product.

Dear Working Class/Employed Gamers,

If you complain about not having much time, but continue to try and connect to a game that the developers have said has server issues and you may not be able to connect, you're stupid.

Sincerely,

Common Sense.

You obviously never played WoW on day 1...Lol, Hunters able to tame merchants, and f*cking bosses? people able to fall through floors and kill you from underground....Oh yea, and don't forget about how Blizzard's servers timed out EXACTLY every 5 minutes for 3 days....Yea....GTA 5 is NOT the worst launch in history.
