I am the one who has paid my hard earned cash and added it to their millions or even billions of dollars. The least they can do is sort out this problem and you expect it to be my fault. I don't even understand as to how you are in favor of "Be patient, people". Just remember that you are the one basically paying for Dan Houser's new Ferrari or new mansion by Los Angeles. I also don't even understand how you are so calm and happy about this. I paid for something and I should receive it. Bottom line.

 

Because throwing temper tantrums and acting like a spoiled little brat isn't going to fix the online problems. They're working on it, what more do you expect them to do? They even WARNED US that the first few days would be rough. If you're this upset over spending $60 for a premium game, with the SP alone being worth that, then you really need to reconsider your priorities. You said it best yourself, your $60 is a small, tiny, itty bitty fraction of over $1 billion so far. Stop feeling so entitled and important and wait like everyone else.

 

Edit: TWO weeks of VERY LIGHTLY POPULATED BETA TESTING is NOTHING compared to MILLIONS of players trying to log into GTA:O. Are people REALLY this stupid? Or are they just so overcome with rage that they can't think logically?

 

Haha. You make me laugh. And where was I throwing temper tantrums? I was making much sense and explaining calmly how I and others feel about this. Spoiled, huh? I was and am still currently appreciated that GTA V is out. You shouldn't make accusations about me being 'spoiled'. I had to earn that money. It didn't just come out of no-where. I buy the things that I like. No-one is 'spoiling' me. And yes, I now realize that people were warned about the GTA V online errors. Unfortunately, I don't follow the Rockstar news wire, that is why I didn't know about the whole warning situation. That's another reason why I didn't quite understand why Rockstar were making promises that we can just suddenly hop onto V online. But, I'm sorry that these little errors are occurring during online. That is not my problem. As I said, I've contributed to Dan Houser's paycheck and three days of guaranteed online, which isn't playable, is not good enough. If these errors were expected, I don't see why they couldn't just delay the whole thing and go over it again, making it perfect. If I knew this were to happen, I wouldn't give away the money that I earned until I was totally satisfied and everything was functioning properly.

 

What exactly are you rambling about? It was known for quite a while that gta online would not be launching the same time gta v launched. Are you complaining there are 1st day issues? Must be your very first online game launch. For someone who isn't throwing a temper tantrum you sure are pretty incoherent.

There is more online content coming, as far as the lag goes they will work that out, it just takes time.

That's why I'm not trippin' on features we do not currently have online. To be honest, I didn't expect them to include everything at launch. I'm sure they will be putting out plenty of content in the coming weeks/months.

 

I would much rather have them focus on first fixing the instability and connection errors so we can play without interruption.

Honestly it's ridiculous. R* is rolling in money, they've made an unthinkable amount just from the launch of GTA V, and they are still making insane amounts and will continue to do so, yet they release this failure of a launch. I know they told us to expect issues, but those "issues" are turning out to be big problems for nearly everyone. Don't sit here and tell me there is no way they could have prepared any better for it, because that's bullsh*t and I don't need to hear it from fanboys. With all the time and preparation, plus money that they've had, they could have made it smoother. It's not like they just started making online 2 weeks ago, it's been in development for a long time. They knew how many people would be online, they didn't "underestimate" it.

 

As a consumer this is just bad. R* continues to go downhill as a company by adding microtransactions and forcing the people who don't want to spend money to grind it out. They released GTA:O with not much to do to make money, huge issues and problems regarding connections and ingame content disappearing forever. We all spent money for a working product. I don't care if it's only been out two days. Don't tell me to quit whining, or do, but I'll just feel sorry for you for trying to defend something so clearly wrong.

It's a shame. The thing that made GTA IV fun online was the fact everything was unlocked. Online airport is locked. No planes. Xbox lagged to hell when playing a cops mission. And cars seem to slide and lag out all the time. Bored of robbing shops already and the map feels really empty.

 

So nothing to do and nothing to see. I liked IV because it wasnt all missions. Free Roams fun.

You can get ionto the airport, you obviosuly didn't try very hard.... go up the stairs on the right and you can jump over the fence, and there are still jets in zancudo i robbed one before

Unlocking stuff gives you an objective and purpose rather than "Think I'll spend this playthrough racing everyone to the airport. Again"

Online airport is locked.

There's a little gap next to the gate that you can run through to get onto the airstrip, but you're right about it being locked for vehicles.

People might hate me for saying this but honestly I dont give a f*ck. It's my opinion so yeah. Personally I havent played GTA O(cuz it dont work dammit!) but Im not liking where its going anyway. Pretty much like OP mentioned, empty world full of locked stuff. It's GTA. I don't want it to be a grindfest. I would much rather have them take out the stupid characters skills(driving,flying,shooting, etc.. In SP too. Probably the worst character customization ever. Players are gona be d*cks I can already see it, it happened with RDR itll happen with GTA 5. I just hate those people that shoot you when you are in their sight even if you dont wana go into a gunfight(come on I dont want a damn mode-passive to solve this problem because passive will be BORING). Also the pay2win aspect, f*cking hate it. I will TRY online just to see if I'm right or wrong but then I'll most likely go back to SP free roam.

Youre Wrong friend, you have paid for the whole pack: GTA V + MP. Thats what you cant see...R* will make tons of money with DLC, Microtransactions....they didnt give you for free as a bonus for buying V...stop looking at the world like a child.

Why do people keep saying the airport is locked?! I went there last night, there were two helicopters and numerous planes. The airport is NOT LOCKED. I'll take a picture this evening to prove it. Sometimes planes and helis are there, sometimes they're not... just like SP. There's literally nothing locked or removed in GTA: O, including the Fort and the Airport.
