What happened to robbing people?

I mean sh*t, the game even warns you when you have over 5k that if you don't bank it, you're in danger of being robbed by other players. Yet, when someone kills you, you only drop 100. I don't think that's working as intended.

Probably not. I noticed this. I also noticed your hats don't show when in a vehicle. Some minor fixes I hope R* gets to quickly.

 

I'm excited for the first patch notes.

 

Edit: it's only f*cked for people not playing. The game is ridiculously fun if you are able to log in. I'm at work ATM unless I'd be playing. It's amazing the difference in perspective of people talking in-game to the people on this forum lol.

I think if you have under 5k you only drop 100. I've heard reports of people killing someone for like 8k+.

 

I guess everyone you've been killing has been playing it safe.

I don't chance it. The second I can deposit the money, I do. It is hard enough to stack money.

Only time I've ever gotten more than $100 from a kill is for a bounty.
So either everyone's nursing their pocket cash like crazy, or - more likely - you're right and it's bugged.

Only people I have killed were some noobs trying to kill me and they only dropped 100$ but they also probably just have no money because they just go around trying to kill people and losing it all the time. Have you tried killing someone after they rob a store or sell a car? That would give you your answer. Just pretend like your helping someone rob a store then kill them when they get the money in the name of research lol.

Well, banks are kinda useless, since you get charged a hospital fee when you die anyway...even when it's deposited.
