How long have you played a game in one sitting?

What was the longest time you have ever spent playing a video game in one sitting?

I played The Last of Us for about 10 hours, and I'm planning to have a GTA V Marathon when I'm not busy.

I think it was my personal record. It was my first time with Skyrim. Started playing at about 00:00 - played all the time till morning. And I would continue to play, but my common sense told me to stop and take a break.

Eons ago, I played Vice City for 9 hours straight. Weirdly enough, I was sick at the time but when I was done, I felt better.

I did a 24-hour marathon of Battlefield Vietnam once at an internet café in Turkey. Basically, the rules were "play for 24 hours solid and you get all of your food, drinks and your time free". Which four of us duly did.

I don't ever play for too long. I usually play for about 2 hours in one sitting. 3 hours max, but very rarely. I just can't sit in front of my pc for longer than that.

I once tried to go from 0 to 100% percent completion in timesplitters2 in one sitting. I go somewhere around 90% I think. Thank was a gnarly night/morning/day.

The whole motherf*cking daytime. Sometimes even the night, being alone. I try not to do it anymore; after some hours, the eyes and back f*cking hurt. Some years ago, in summer, I used to play with a pal BC2 in my house the whole afternoon and sometimes the morning too. After some time I needed to take a walk to stretch the legs. It was f*cking fun, though.

I think I played San Andreas for the longest time in one sitting. I'm not sure about the precise amount of time, but it was probably more than five hours and it happened a few times. That was when I first played the game on my own PC and I waited almost a year to play it. I was so hyped about video games back then...things are a bit different nowadays.

I think my longest sitting might go back to the Atari 2600 days. If you ever played asteroids on the 2600 you know it is near impossible to die. Me and a buddy had a two player game that (I'm guessing) was well over 12 hours.

As I child I played Mario64 for about 14 hours straight without eating drinking or using the bathroom. I was going for 120 stars. I did it, but it took so long because within a few hours my eyes were tired and bloodshot so stupid mistakes kept happening every few minutes. I'll never do a long session like that again. 3 hours max from now on.

It was about 10 hours with VC I think when it was new. Most recently is GTA V. I played for about 6 hours non-stop.

Probably three hours with this one Metal Gear game.

-reason was, the unskippable movies kept going for ages, and there was no saving point anywhere as I was whisked from scene to scene. It was torture.

 

Same things have happened with some later final fantasy games. They also have long, boring movies, and some boss fights do take like an hour to beat.

I remember playing Call Of.Duty Black Ops online for about 16 hours one day, when I was a kid I would play GTA III for up to 12 hours at a time.

 

I rarely play any games other than call of duty for more than an hour at a time nowadays. I really need to get back into GTAV, I've only finished 3 missions

I played GTA V from 3 PM to 8 AM but it wasn't non-stop so I'd say like 10-14-ish hours maybe?

Don't recall playing any single game for that long without doing anything else or switching games.

I remember playing one game till 4 AM in the morning with starting point being around 12 PM previous day. It was Fallout 2 IIRC.

Ooh, My longest time playing games? sh*t, like a few years ago, played like 4 days straight, nothing but coke and Bologna sandwiches, My my though, the moment I fell asleep, Was the best sleep of my entire life.

 

Seriously though, Never again will i play that long at one time.
