Online, but alone. Can't do missions.

I have no problems going online and playing the only issue is I can't really do anything because there's no one around to do missions because you can't solo those. so how are people doing this?

You can solo plenty of missions.

Call any of your contacts and they will come up with a few options. Select 'Request Job' and they'll send you one via text. Accept it and just go down to 'play'.

Works with 1 person, but they're always better with more.

I only have a few contacts and the other don't pick up their phone they don't specifically have a job for me and Lamar says I have to be ranked 50

go rob a few stores then hit rank 5, that is when lamar and the sketchy car dealer started givign me missions

As said above, do some odd-jobs and just rank up to 5. More unlock as you advance. I just unlocked

It's either to do with the server-issues that Rockstar are still having, your connection or your NAT-type. If your internet is good and you don't have any issues in other online games on your console, it's likely the server-issues. Try restart your console and if you still find yourself without people in your lobby, try and select the 'Find new session' option from the online pause menu. If all else fails, just wait it out a few days until the servers stabilize.

Sounds good I'll do that I'm now ranked five and I have seen a few people in my lobby and then game so that's a good sign although I'm on a turbo hub until I move in a few months so my nag type is 3

I have no issues when I play online with my computer. Hopefully I can meet a few people I can chat with so that I can do those eight missions that require two or more people.
