Half of you idiots are whining and half of you are f*cking flaming. Remember that this game sold 16+ mil copies and is still selling, and millions of us are trying to connect. A lot of things are still unknown but be patient for f*cks sake, stop making sh*t up, and stop flaming people and just remind them to be f*cking patient. It's chaos right now but at least have respect for each other people, we're all in the same boat. If you're going to complain, at least do it in well written thought instead of, "FUK DIS GAME, f*ck COCKSTAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". You're going to get nowhere by being impatient little sh*ts. And I'm not saying all of you are, but you know who you are, and they'll likely throw a bitchfit in this thread.

Enough is enough guys. I registered just to say how ridiculous this sh*t is. If that doesn't say something then I don't know what does.

Agreed. It's ridiculously fun. At first glance it looked disappointing, like the "missions" were only game modes.

 

...and then you realize there's hundreds of missions, tons of stuff to unlock, and just so much f*cking fun.

 

I expected (read: knew with 100% certainty) that servers would be sketchy for probably the first few days, if not the first week. Anyone who didn't expect it and is like "OMG, HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN!?" knows nothing about servers.

 

I LOVE all the people saying sh*t like "IT'S NOT HARD, JUST SET UP A QUEUE". Yeah, because you know anything about what a queues actual purpose is.

I've played every Call of Duty and not a single one has had as many issues as this game has thus far in my experience. Rockstar has some serious egg on their face. Does complaining help? Of course not, but letting them know how pissed you are might bring some free downloads in the future.

Actually I've been playing for about 5 or 6 hours now and it put me in a load loop so I'm just retrying over and over again with the damn cloud servers being down it's not even that good of an online game just annoying kids who get hard if they ever kill you I just find it a bit funny that they knew it was going to be flooded and every one got tunneled down one race I mean really? They should of had another disc for GTA Online so it wasn't all cloud saved

Comparing CoD MP to GTA V maybe the stupidest possible comparison. The only fair comparison is they sold a bunch. CoD is so basic and simple compared to GTA open world, multi-mission, on the fly matchmaking, synchronizing with open world, etc.

None of it matters, R* WILL fix these issues, R* WILL make over 300 million + on DLC..

And half of the people complaining and going off in forums, will flock right back to their gaming systems

as if they never contacted a tech in the world...

 

IMO - you're right Hylander, the people purchased this game have the right to complain about anything they want,

and the ones who understand the system will just wait it out quietly.

I understand common sense so it's not bothering me that much, wanna play just as bad as everyone else.. looking back on it, it'll be cool to see how crazy folks was acting around this time.

 

People played GTA IV RELIGIOUSLY for four/ five years!!! Imagine once Online gets all the way together..

 

Rockstar are definitely the popular kids in the cafeteria right now, and it's showing.

1 billion + in sales, take 5 years+ to develop the game delaying it in the process, DELAY the online portion of the game for an extra 2 weeks to finish up the multiplayer and they STILL can't get right. Yet you still blindly support these companies ? idiot fanboys

727 nailed it. The best way to contribute and help the health of this community is to keep a stiff upper lip, ignore the trolls, (there's an option to literally ignore them in the CP) and only reply to conversations that are worthwhile.

Exactly all this R*drones trying to defend I understand how good of a game it is singleplayer wise but they knew what they were up against. I'm no software engineer or systems networking tech or anything like that but I'm pretty sure 2 weeks should of been enough to release more cloud servers or make more changes like a skip able tutorial.

If u think u can do a better job, then prove it.. There hasn't been much competition with gta cause they are the best in the business at doing it.

 

I had trouble playing until about 10 pm est last night, and was able to play for a solid 5 hours without any issues

Ahh never thought of that smart move in some ways other not still it would of made things maybe a little different I still remember the BF3 beta at least I got 4 or 5 games before it cut out on me I waited a day and a bit before I could actually start playing.
