Missing the Mission Hang ten, 68/69 Done. (Spoiler alert)

Hello, so i finished the storyline for the first time and i picked the kill trevor.

Then i found out that i had to pick the deathwish so i could save everyone because i would like to finish the game 100%.

 

So i started over on a older savegame which had like 40%.

 

I finished the storyline did the last mission had the credits and then found out the checklist was saying 68/69

I found out that the mission Hang ten is missing but i also dont have the possibility to do it anymore.

Sometimes with trevor i spawn in the house where the mission is but i can't go out of the house because the door is closed and from outside i also cannot get it.

 

 

 

 

Its really frustrating that i already did alot of missions twice and now i get this bug.

 

I really hope anyone has a solution.

Did you do all of this post patch? The GTA Online Patch seems to have royally f*cked Single Player...

I have this exact same problem too.

 

Also Floyd is still alive and sleeping in his bed in his pyjamas, even though I have completed story mode, I often wake up next to him but am unable to exit his apartment.

Same here. Both 68/69 and the bug with wake up in close appartment.Very frustrating.I have open a ticket in rockstargames support a week ago. No replay till this moment. I have also problems with parachute jumps. Only 12 I see on the map. 100% bugged a lot.

Yeah I also submitted a ticket to Rockstar support about the issue and so far they've ignored me too.

Hello Thorand,

Thank you for contacting R* support. It looks like you are missing the mission Construction Assassin. This is Franklin mission. check to see if you have a L on your map. A lot of people think that this is a side mission but is actually a mission in game. This mission have go to the phone and talk to Lester to assign you a couple of assassination mission when you complete this you will get 69 out of 69. This mission can only be access as Franklin.

I finished the game but on the map there is only 12/12 parachuting points. Without the 13. I am unable to finish 'complete all heli jumps'.
How can you help me?

I found it connected with hang ten mission. After it 13jump shown. Anyway it not solve the problem as I am missing hang ten mission either. 100% is impossible.

I have only 68/69 missions.
Looks like Sidetracked mission is missing but not sure for right name. Please be so kind to check and replay how I can have 69/69 - 100% missions finished.
There is also number "1" with Franklin icon, but no missions available.

We're sorry to hear that you're having issues with one of our titles. Below you will find some Console Troubleshooting steps which may help resolve the issue. These are the official troubleshooting steps provided by Sony on their support site:

Before troubleshooting, please check the following:
1. Turn the console off and on.
2. Unplug all power cords and accessories, and then plug them back in firmly. Make sure all connections are secure.
3. Update your console software.

Clearing the Game Data Utility:
1. In the XMB home menu, go to (Game) > [Game Data Utility].
Important: Make sure you select [Game Data Utility]. Do NOT select [saved Data Utility], as this will delete all of your saved games files.
2. Highlight the game data utility file (i.e., name of a particular game you have been playing) you wish to delete.
3. Press the button and select [Delete].
4. Highlight "Yes" and press the button to confirm the deletion.
5. A message indicating the file is being deleted will appear.
6. A "Delete completed." message will appear once the file has been successfully deleted.
7. Once all of the files have been deleted, go back to the XMB home menu.
8. Reboot the game.

If this is still happening let's try this on a second PS3 to see if the same issue is occurring.

Has there been a fix for this?? I have the exact same issue. Missing Hang Ten and 13th Heli jump. I also have the same issue with Trevor mentioned where he spawns inside locked hideout. I have started a 2nd playthrough, but it is really #$%# annoying to have to do all this again when I spent days doing it already.

It has been a while since I've heard of the missing mission bugs so I assumed a patch had fixed this.

 

I feel your pain-- my game skipped the mission "Meltdown" for Solomon-- I almost finished the story before I noticed-- Luckilly I had kept a save after "the ballad of Rocco" so had to replay about 10 missions or so (not start a new game)-- the only thing I lost was the submarine side thing where you pick up the waste from the bottom of the ocean--- I did complete it originally and so got the Trophy for this and luckilly it was NOT required for 100% as I think I'd shoot myself if I had to do that again.

 

My advice to you---

 

If at all possible-- delete all the patches and play offline only-- it seems like most bugs popped up after update 1.01-- (this is if you decide to start over)

 

Turn off autosave and save manually-- keep 3 slots for your current progress-- always save over your 3rd slot (which will move it to the top)-- every 5 or 10%, create a new save slot so you can mark your progress and have a place to go back to if you encounter this bug or one like this again.

 

Regarding the heli jump-- some people reported that if you save in a new slot, reload the new save, go online for about 4 or 5 minutes and back off sometimes missing missions will pop up...
