Trevor on meth finds stuff for me

While switching to Trevor, I'd say about 75% of the time now he's either drunk or coming out of a meth stupor. However, I've now found two letter scraps within 20 feet of where I gain control of him (most recently was next to this juice stand in the Vinewood Hills, the flashing paper practically screaming at me during the transition).

 

I've also found 3 stunt jumps and a weapon pickup (I think it was the micro SMG) either while watching the transitions or shortly after gaining control of him. I don't really even use Trevor now as much as I do Franklin, and I just finished a complete run of the Epsilon missions the other day, so I haven't even used him as often as the others. I find it strange that Trevor in my game at least has the uncanny ability to get high and wander close to some discoverable object.

 

Anyone else have this happen to them, with Trevor or someone different?

Best character in game. I hated him at start. Now I've grown fond of this guy!
