Classic 'Free-Mode'?

I dont think im gonna like this, i want the freemode, just spawn at a random place with 10+ other people in, and there is heli, planes and stuff there they should be.. no cops and / or no traffic..

But why cant we have like "Money mode" "Freemode" e.t.c.. and you can just join whatever you want.

At the moment for me Online is pretty boring and tedious. It's a grind fest to get money for weapons, hospital bills and customising but with aircraft missing, airport being dead, the military base non existent and nothing fun to do it is pretty dead. I'm sure with updates, DLC and a more stable online it will become better over time but for now it's tedious. This is purely my opinion and my view if you disagree I couldn't care.

The way Online works right now is the reason i have been so excited to play Online.
i can do without the free mode, though i can see why some of you are disappointed.

I like the new format, got to play for about an hour earlier (PS3) before it crashed and then wouldn't let me play with saving..

 

Once I did the first race and delivery literally only one person would accept an invite/host a game which left me spending about half an hour surrounded by people splatting others in cars, shooting eachother, etc..

 

Put on passive mode and still getting hit by another player in a car took off 2/3rds health.

 

Clearly the servers still aren't ready as trying to quick join a game never worked..

Exactly. Improve an already good system rather than going in the opposite direction (they already f*cked up with vehicle handling)

Boom. You nailed it. Now you've mentioned it, the handling was what made IV's online fun - thinking back there some insane crashes abd brilliant races.

I give up. I f*cking give up. I hate the stupid player stats in SP(driving,shooting,flying,etc.). To me it was a grindfest to max some of em out(lung capacity, strength,stealth especially). And now I gotta level up and grind my skills all over again? Yea no thanks. When I play GTA(any GTA not just 5) i dont want any BS leveling system or grind based gameplay. I just wana hop in with all the stuff and have fun and do random crazy sh*t. I think Im staying in SP free roam. Once I can connect to Online i will TRY it and then go back to SP.
