First Race Still Bugged

Could be to do with the sudden loss of playability PS3 players have started reporting but as a test I tried creating a new character this morning.

 

Got through the intro no problem, but at the first race (in a an invite only session) the game hung at "Waiting For Players". Signed out of PSN to un-hang it, tried a solo session. This time, the guy hands over the car, a few menu's appear and then the game glitches out. The guy hands over the car again, and then the game hangs on a loading screen. Re-signed in, I tried a public match - "Failed To Host GTAO Session".

 

Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Yup could get on but froze at race, not I can't even get on

Yes, mine fails to host gta online.

It gets stuck in first race mission.

Well I got on really quick but that blue light that triggers the race was not there so I just free roamed but could not do anything

It works now, if it doesnt keep trying and be patient.
