Stuck on blurry screen of Los santos?

Oh sh*t rockstar good job i finally get in the car about to do the mission and now the screen freezes and im stuck looking at a blurry ass view of Los santos listening to some fu*kn techno music i cant even get out without reloading the whole disc back up

That's where I am, waiting for other players to join the race. Can't access a phone. I read some people have waiting for a bit for others to join. One person said up to 10 minutes. I guess it's just a matter of luck. This is a bit of a weak way to start the online game I think. Maybe they'll change it down the road.

I'm in the same boat, been waiting almost 10 minutes at this screen. But I've heard of some people waiting 40 or more minutes before starting the race. here's hoping it doesn't take that long.

It's happened to me a lot. Also a message popped up for me when I dashboarded and went back in, it said something like "yo recieved bad rep for qutting a job early, make sure to complete jobs..." Or something like that. So I received bad rep for R*'s mistakes.

you don't have to restart the game everytime, if you remove your internet connection from the console you'll pop back into single player.

 

 

so it's not the game freezing.. but it isn't exactly working either
