When you say froze do you mean your console totally crashed? It's happened to me twice now since playing online, never happened once in singleplayer.

Think on the bright side, you finally had the chance to try some of the sh*t out, hey it's a start? (well some people did have the chance) Maybe tomorrow we wont have any problem connecting whatsoever. Be positive! This proves that Rockstar is also working on the problem, and they are closing in on the error/bugs/Server overload w/e it is that's causing this.

Yeah I got to play for about 1 1/2 hours. But when I did play the other players were all from Europe which would not be a problem if I spoke the language they were speaking.

It didn't crash, i was starting a death match, and had the loading icon on the screen, and then it didn't move from that screen, waited 10 minutes, tried to get out of it but it didn't let me, so i just quit the game and started it again.

Damn must be a problem with my character being corrupt or something or my PS3 is on its way out as my game completely froze/crashed twice in half an hour.
