Your beginning Race story.

Disclaimer: obviously this topic is for people who have managed to wait out their loading session of doom and actually race.

 

So after 30-40 minutes the screen advanced and i choose the Issi or w/e the Mini cooper thing is. I didnt care about winning, i just wanted to get to free roam at any costs.

 

was vs one Player opponent who chose a blitza. for the first half of the race or so i just kind of took it slow and tried to stay behind him... untill i noticed how easily i could bridge the gap and gain on him.. then i swear i passed him like he wasnt even there and dominated the race untill the finish. was a clean race, no bumping into each other (tho i trashed Lamar with a pit maneuver)

 

after the race i got a interesting screen saying "world record". if that's personal or otherwise i don't really know or care. Anyways Lamar eventually caught up.

 

i was kind of disappointed to be forced into another mission directly after tho..

There are about 3 missions to do before you can free roam, took me about 10 minutes

I'm stuck at the race. The screen is just loading. I somehow got booted from other players last time I tried. They can do that?! I'll be happy if I get past this race. It's rough.

 

edit: Wait...did you say after 30-40 minutes to advance to the race? That's some dedication.
