how can anyone defend Microsoft? No matter how much you try and tell yourself otherwise it's been a massive disappointment, I think most of you know this but are in denial. Everything from lack of interiors, lack of customization, lies, short story, not very engaging characters and glitches.

 

I don't think Microsoft had a say in how many interiors R* put in the game.

 

I can defend R* because its one hell of a game. If you want lack of customization and interiors go play IV, or VC, or III, or II, or I, or LCS, or VCS...

 

You see where I'm going with this? You can't complain about a lack of customization when it has more customization than any game, especially when you include weapon customization which wasn't even in San Andreas.

Haha I have no idea why I wrote Microsoft but it's made me laugh at myself. The customization could of been a lot better and it would of not been hard, only Franklin has more then 4 hairstyles and even then most of them are dumb patterns in his head.

To everyone else saying I am forcing my opinion on others, I am not trying to force my opinion and view onto others. I just feel like no matter what Rockstar will be defended, there's a lot right with this game but there's also a lot wrong. Its ironic that most are saying am trying to force my opinion on others when its exactly what the majority of this forum does, lets face it if anyone has a complaint against the game its automatically invalid. Also can you seriously say that the story feels like a adventure like the other GTA titles, specifically SA since they are both massive. In SA the story feels like a adventure with you spending time doing missions in every part of the map, the map actually feels like its there for a purpose as you actually use it in mission, in V the map is there to be there. To this day I can remember ending up in a garage in San Fierro and whatnot. I just feel 5 years and a massive map it could of been done a lot better, instead it feels rushed the whole game everything from the story to online. It tooks 5 years to make but stills feels rushed, but yes its still enjoyable but am sure if you look past your love for Rockstar you would feel underwhelmed too.

While this is one of the best games I've played, I'm hugely disappointed that Rockstar only care about multiplayer, and now completely ignore those who only want to play single player. I don't care for online, and will never go on it, but according to Rockstar we all love it. It's sad what they're doing, they already made over a billion, but they still want to squeeze everything out of consumers, forcing them to go online and buy features that were promised, but aren't available in single player.

 

Rockstar were too ambitious, and we should all know what over-ambition does. There are so many major issues with the game that can be seen with regular gameplay, yet Rockstar didn't notice it? It's like the testers were too scared to point out issues. There's many lazily done and poor things in this game, the AI being one of them. They completely destroyed what good AI is in GTA V. It really degrades the feel of the game, you can't take a nice walk in the park without pedestrians calling the police, because standing around is an offence. Sure the game looks great, but so many aspects are done really badly, aspects a company like Rockstar could have easily fixed or done better. Sure, I couldn't do better in my current state, but I do graphic design and 3D modelling as a hobby, and have a certificate in areas like game design, I know what it takes to make a game, and the difficulty in it, but GTA V wasn't made from scratch, they had the engine, along with models, sounds, lots of that already available, and with so many assets already in their possession, they could have easily built upon them instead of doing a rushed job at doing it again.

 

I just wish they actually cared about single player gamers, if they add stuff to multiplayer, why not single player too? This is where the PC version comes in, in it, I can use a trainer to obtain all the multiplayer-exclusive content without ever having to go near it. Another aspect is how greedy Rockstar is, they make you pay extra for content that gets cut in regular editions, and will make you pay for content that should be free. DLC is a disgusting, greedy joke. Why pay for content you should already own? Why pay more to get the game you were promised in the first place? I can't even use the Snapmatic application because greedy Micro$oft want me to pay for this useless Xbox LIVE Gold service just to save images. It amazes me how so many gamers find DLC acceptable...

Rockstar did lie, I love GTA V, it's now one of my favourite games, but lying is just a downright rude and degrading way of gathering consumers. Hopefully consumers catch onto this, because then Rockstar will have to be honest to ensure good sales. When I got GTA V, I should have gotten what was promised, instead I got a watered-down cut game that only focuses on multiplayer. Disappointing. I know current console limitations ruined what GTA V would have been, but current console limitations doesn't mean you have to do half the job with so many aspects. I don't get what you mean, a bright colour works great on the dark blue background, don't blame me if you can't read the text, I can see it fine. Most of the time you see dark colours is because the poster copied and pasted the black text, and didn't change the colour.

Don't get me wrong GTA V is an amazing game but a few things did annoy me. Story was actually quite short

and those 3 choice endings were ridiculous if you didn't pick C.

but it was by far the best GTA story. There is definitely a lack of interiors and those that you can enter you can't even take out your gun. Online was too overhyped and was bound to be a disaster.

 

Don't even get me started on the police though...

 

Also nobody can have an opinion on this forum for some reason without being told their opinion is wrong.

Did I say he should give them gratitude? No. But comments like his is unnecessary. Rockstar worked long and hard on this game and

they did deliver. They gave everything they said they would. If you could show me something that they confirmed to be in the game but

isn't then there's no reason to give hate on this game.

Holy sh*t people like you are SO ungrateful. This game has SO MUCH to do. On both single player and multiplayer, ever think that maybe

you're just not into gaming as much as you used to be? That's how I feel and I'm pretty sure a lot of other people are mistaking their

mis-interest in games and thinking that the game just sucks.

 

I can't find myself enjoying it much either, but I know that that's just because I don't have as much interest in gaming as I used to because

I've grown up.

 

There are some things that could've been done better, yes. Such as cops, npc aggression, the story could've been a bit longer also. But I

understand why it wasn't. They made every story mission different and unique, unlike other gta's. But in the end there is so much more

content in this game to make up for it. It'd be cool if they eventually patch the cops and npc aggression which I doubt will happen but w/e.

Ungrateful? Wtf should he be grateful for! f*ck sake its comments like that, that piss me off. He f*ckING PAID FOR THIS WHY SHOULD HE GIVE ROCKSTAR GRATITUDE IF ANYTHING THEY SHOULD BE GRATEFUL. f*ck

 

Did I say he should give them gratitude? No. But comments like his is unnecessary. Rockstar worked long and hard on this game and

they did deliver. They gave everything they said they would. If you could show me something that they confirmed to be in the game but

isn't then there's no reason to give hate on this game.

2. They are necessary as they are legitimate problems (for the most part). How the f*ck can Rockstar better the next GTA if all the comments are

"GAME OF THE GENERATION"

"FLAWLESS"

"BETTER GRAPHIX THAN CRYSIS 3"

"GTA IS L33333T"

3. They did not deliver. They delivered on a for the most part fun single player that was depressingly shorter than previous GTA games, an open world with nothing but repetitive activities and a broken online part. How the f*ck do you class that as 'delivering'? Delivering disappointment? If so I agree.

 

 

Here is what they did not have in the game that they promised they would have

 

• Functioning GTA online. Before people say "Rockstar said there would be problems" Bullsh*t wtf was the point in delaying the online 2 weeks if it wasnt going to work anyway? It was a cop out that fanboys believe sadly.
• Buying Safe houses
• In depth customization (lol like 3 haircuts, 5 more guns than GTA IV, and dont get me started on GTAO customization)
• In Depth heists organization. Brb lemme go plant a car here and pick from 2 different ways to tackle a heist.
• Stealth (lol its f*cking broken as hell outside missions)

 

Im sure theres alot more but thats the sh*t that bugged me.

Yeah he paid $60 for a complete game and single player by itself is a complete game. Online is just an extra bonus

 

Any game is a 'complete' game. Does he feel the game is satisfactory? Perhaps not. Has he got the right as a consumer to share his problems with it? Certainly.

 

How the f*ck can we move forward past this plateau of Multiplayer and DLC focused gaming if nobody can share LEGITIMATE concerns with the game they waited years for and paid $60 for without getting his arsehole destroyed from fanboys who get a round house kick from Rockstar whenever somebody shares a negative opinion?

 

It's one thing to stress concern, its another thing for people to act like little bitches and do nothing but whine about things they don't like

 

 

What do you mean whine about thins they dont like? How the f*ck would Rockstar know what to patch and fix if nobody can express there problems with the game? Sure it would make sense if he was the ONLY one complaining about a certain problem but he isnt. Alot of people with half a brain acknowledge the problems with this game (BROKEN online, Broken cop AI etc etc)
