Take it to any Los Santos customs, head to the loss/theft prevention options and select the full cover option (it's not free the second time however, cost me something like $5700). I believe you have to pay $2000 to switch the tracker as well to make it 'your' car.

Take it to LS customs. Scroll down customization list. Click Insurance/theft. $2000 for tracker first, then $3000 for insurance.

 

When u exit the garage you'll get the number for ur mechanic. Job done.

 

Refrain from customising cars for now tho just to be on the safe side til servers are sorted properly. Don't wanna be wasting money.

 

But the insurance is working for me. Infact sometimes my car gets brought to me even if I haven't rang my mechanic.

No worries and since you managed to do it for free, I'd say yes.

You can only insure low spec vehicles.

Anything with high power already has a "Tracker" Fitted and cannot be used.

 

If you want a High End Sports car you have to buy one from there website

 

Suppose its only fair, but a bummer Running around in a crapish car lol

I was wondering if you can insure cars that are considered “too hot” if you get them from the website
