Not entirely true. I have buddies with one character slot and were able to do it by level 10. Just another bug that needs fixing that most likely won't get an eyelash batted at.

 

Uh...we're talking about people who are bugged. Some don't have this bug. Those that do, can use the 2nd character slot and it works.

had mine on a hoody. but when I changed clothes then went back to put the hoody on it was gone. Is that normal, do you have to go to the clothing store and buy it each time you change outfits??

It always disappears when I change t-shirts and then I must go pay for getting the emblem on my shirt again. Why can't it just stay there?????

they should make it so when you buy it from the store it becomes an option in the quick screen to apply the emblem to your current outfit. problem solved.

Sometimes when I start a session, my crew emblem is missing off my jacket. I have to go to a clothing store to have it put back on. It doesn't cost me anything, but it is a pain. However, I can put it on ANYTHING. leather jackets, t-shirts, hoodies or whatever. I actually have it on a track jacket right now. Something stupid I did notice though is it doesn't show up in mirrors. It is just blank, eventhough it is there. It is like a vampire I guess.

Ok guys, I had a thread about this before but didnt get much response, I reported it to support however they told me I require a picture of the glitch where im unable to purchase the crew tag as its unlocked,or a video, or else they cant bring attention to it.

I cant take pics or video so perhaps the best bet to get the ball rolling on them fixing this is to email [email protected] with evidence displaying this glitch in action. If anyone can / will do that.

I only have only one character and have been able to put crew emblem on ANYTHING since I was at level 1.

I created a new crew recently. Its just for taking pictures for wallpapers. But Last night was the first time I ever even signed in as that crew. I was able to put my crew emblem on the back of my leather jacket almost immediately. I had to get a crew rank of 10 before I was able to add the emblem to my cars.

As soon as i unlocked the last leather jacket in the list i purchased it & had no problems putting my crew emblem on it.

I still have issues with this.. I own every leather jacket. I give up on it though. Just stick to my crew shirt, f*ck it.

One of my crew members had the problem that makes the crew emblem locked so I ( the crew leader) when in the hierarchy section and bumped him up to commissioner. It may be that you need to be placed higher up from the social club site.

 

I never wear leather (I hate that leather sound ingame) but I'll try to find a fix by getting my crew to leather up for the greater good.

Someone also said in another thread maybe u need to complete a mission or job with at least 3 members....I've seen lower level people in my crew wear it on the back of their track jackets etc

I went online after my last post and drove to the cloths store. With my Crew level at under 15 I was able to add my custom emblem to my Leather jacket. My overall level is over 120.

 

Usually when there is an item locked, there will be a "TIP" in the top left menu, telling you what you need to do to unlock this feature. Its the same menu that you are selecting the Crew Emblem. See what that says then post it here to help those others that are having the same problem.

Thing is, I was able to do it when I first started playing GTAO,. I believe it's just another bug in the system. I don't care about the leather jackets per se anymore.. but it would be nice if my crew and I decide to tear it up on some bikes or something. I sent a picture to Rockstar showing that it's locked, we'll see what happens or what they say.

Same issue, the latest patch didn't fix it. Also unfortunate that I can't put the crew logo on the front AND on the back.

Im lvl 96. Emblem on cars and t shirts. No jacket or hoodie. I really like hoodies becausr i have a camo hoodie and it would look badass with an emblem. But hey , worry about people farming missiond and nerfing rewards so were forced to buy cashcards.....

I need to know how you made the background transparent. Mine always shows as a white block even if there's no background. Can you help...pm please. thanks in advance.

 

 

BTW, I had the same issue and the only solution I could come up with was turning off the game, remaking the crew emblem and logging back into GTA online.

I think its something of Rockstar having a problem. I once bought a crew emblem and wouldnt show up, then when they had an update it worked, sadly with the beach bum update i cant put crew emblem and i cant go into a session without being disconnected

Go into jacket put jacket on back out to main tops menu of clothing go to crew emblem at very top and equip the crew emblem on jacket
