Crew Emblem on leather jacket

Hi i can put my crew emblem on my t-shirts but not my leather jackets. Everybody else in the crew has it on the leather jackets so i know it can be done but for me it just has a locked symbol. I am a higher rank than some members that have it aswell so its not that i don't get it. anyone else had a similar problem or know how to fix it??

My crew emblem shows up as a checker board on my character's clothing :/

That happened to my friend when servers where messing up. He reloaded the game and it fixed it. Hopefully that helps.

I tried removing all my shirts and just putting on the leather jacket it still didnt work i dont get why its not working.

I bought my leather jacket at the beginning of the game and was able to place the emblem on the back. I don't know if during the tutorial if they unlock it for, like they do with some car mods and then relock them after you've completed it or not. I'll have to check when I get back on.

I had it since launch, but today it just up and disappears. I'm guessing it's the same issue that messed up any new emblems I tried to make on Socialclub.

I'm not 100% sure, but it seems like on Social Club, if you go to your crew page, it lists off the rank you need to achieve to unlock them.

But...this isn't your rank, it's your crew rank. You obtain a higher crew rank by completing missions and playing with your crewmates online.

 

That's my take on it.

Just bumping this to see if anyone else is still having problems with it? Me and my fellow Crew Member were in Binco and both had on Leather Jackets, his however had the Emblem on the back but mine was locked for some reason, anyone know why?!?

I've had this same problem with the emblem on shirts but not leather jackets. I'm crew rank 91 but it says "Sorry-this is currently unavailable." Some members who just started have it on their. Kind of annoying I can't do this.

The R* Social Club is a complete mess. I get the same 99% of the time, saying I'm rank 1 when I ma ranked 56. Then when I try and list my crew by rp it doesn't even list them in numerical order properly. It's a complete and utter waste of time.

 

OP: as for the emblem, I've had no bother putting it on t-shirts or jackets. I was toying around with it last night on different shirts and jackets and it worked every time.

My crew rank is 51 (and I AM the crew leader), I can put the emblem everywhere it is possible to put an emblem except on the leather jacket.

It's so annoying.

It was possible on t-shirts and hoodies as well as the leather jackets. Those were the only clothes I tried them on so it may work on more.

 

I have the lone wolf brown leather jacket and when I put the crew logo on the back it covered the wolf image already on the jacket, so I was able to put a smaller crew logo on the front instead. You can also put a small crew logo on the front of t-shirts and hoodies too.

I can only put my emblem on tank tops but my friend (crew leader) can put it on his leather jacket. I think its to do with hierarchy.

Ugh, make sure ingame crew rank and social club crew rank both have the required level.

 

Ugh, yeah checked that already. Both rank 95. Still doesn't work.

Guys; this is a confirmed bug in the game and only effects the character in your 1st slot. If you create a 2nd character and use that one, that's the only way to get around this bug that I know of. If you use the character in your 1st slot, the only clothes it shows up on is t-shirts and tank tops. The jackets are locked.

 

Your crew rank carries over onto all of your characters so it will work on your 2nd character. You unlock the clothing emblems at crew rank 5 (or lower, can't remember).

 

I submitted a ticket to Rockstar weeks ago, they replied wanting more details. Lets hope they fix it in an upcoming back.

 

If someone else has a fix for this, it would be great to know. But I doubt there is one.

Not entirely true. I have buddies with one character slot and were able to do it by level 10. Just another bug that needs fixing that most likely won't get an eyelash batted at.
