Taxi Drivers!

I think this could really be a good thing. Players can buy a sedan/limousine, get a suit and offer Taxi services. I am sure a lot of people would love to be driven around the map.

 

Do you guys see this happening?

Passive mode on (undetectable): stop next to a player -> they enter -> drive to a random location ->kill them!-> steal money.

You're not "undetectable" in passive mode. You still appear on the map.

Kicking an ancient thread back into life here - i'm fully up for joining/setting up a Taxi crew. Problem is, people would have to play along, otherwise it'll be a bit pointless. I have gone into passive mode with a bright yellow Vapid Stainer or Albany Washington and given other players lifts... they are SO suspicious of you initially though! GTAO in a nutshell, I suppose.

 

Shame the Crew Emblem placement is laughably bad on vehicles, or it might be cool to make Taxi replica PVs to make this a little more fun.

Get taxi, rig with sticky bomb, go passive, pick-up victim, drive along as normal whilst coming out of pasive, jump out and detonate.

 

Never fail to be funny. Done this to a few randoms. Only one ever came back for revenge, the rest either saw the funny side of it or carried on with their game. It can take a fair bit of time to get a victim but it's worth it when you do.

I know there are others when looking for a crew on SC, but is there one for GTAF members who are likely to be online together? It's be kinda cool to see four or five yellow cabs running around a 30 player freeroam.

It indeedly is fun, i've started a topic in the find a lobby and meetup section, to be people's private driver. I own a blacked out super diamond, and it's a hell of a lot of fun to drive players around, but it's hard to find people who want to be driven around..

Would be cool to meet fellow drivers!

 

But i don't think a taxi service option should be added. 12 ear olds would call them in all the time, and blow them up, shopt them, etc.
