Playing Online (PS3) I put on a mask and it won't let me take it off.... I go into the inventory but can't take it off...can someone help?

Yea experienced the same, seems the only way to remove and/or put a mask on is at a clothing store (Unless I am missing a trick) Kinda sucks, would have been nice to have the option to put on or take off your mask via the weapon wheel.
